I'm not sure if this has been seen or talked about in here:

The game looks pretty nice in HD, but it looks like they did us all new actors for the characters. Which they'd have to do, to film them on HD cameras. I wish this wasn't cancelled.

I can only hope this is real
Can anyone confirm if this is actually legit/real, please?
So, I haven't actually read the full article, but, I did look at those pictures and they look amazing. Absolutely amazing!
That MK2 Kitana looks awesome (except for her huge eyes), Kano looks cool, that Dragon is smoking sexy, and the overall graphics are near flawless.
I am now sad that this never came to be.
I'd have bought it.

Probably was shopped pics to see what the game would look like. But I would have liked to have it look that good. With tech that is millions of times better than stuff 20 years ago, the game would look crazy good. But the gameplay would have to match it and not still feel 20 years old.

Kitana's fan in her MK2 HD bio looks like paper. Really crappy looking. And also, most of this look kinda copy-pasted. but other than that, cool costumes none the less.

I think I'm the only one in the world who doesn't give a crap about this.

Looks like a bunch of shopped pics to me honestly.
Look at the dragon fatality pic specifically. The Dragon is nice but the Legs standing there are low res.

Or it could just be that they replaced the dragon fatality with hd sprites and kept Jax's old sprites. It doesn't mean it was shopped.

Man, now I'm even more bummed out that this game was cancelled!
Instead we now get another port of the old MK arcade klassics. But I have those on PSP already and I have MK1 - UMK3 on Genesis.
I'm not buying the PSN/XBL version of those since it adds nothing.
I'm just gonna buy MK2 on SNES again. That's the best port of that game anyway and then I'll have all the klassics on SNES again as well.
