I noticed that there have been issues with MK's story. I thought "hey what if they remade MK1 and went from there? This way they could re-introduce the series, fresh, on next-generation consoles. If Midway were to do this, this is how I see the roster:

Scorpion
Sub-Zero
Reptile
Ermac
Sonya
Kano
Liu Kang
Raiden
Johnny Cage
Shang Tsung (Old)
Goro

You could add new characters to this MK as well, however to keep the storyline from contradictions and further problems, these characters' storylines must reach conclusion, whether it be completion of their storyline goal...or death.

It would be possible to add other MK characters into this MK, for example Baraka could be put in, however his story would likely be a simple, with him having no personal goals, just following orders.

With a MK2 Remake, I'd like to see:

Kabal (before his injuries)
Sektor (before automation)
Smoke (Human and Playable)
Blaze (MK:DA)
Jade (Playable)
Noob (Playable)
Kano (Secret Character)
Sonya (Secret Character)
Hornbuckle

I don't care about Cyrax, but some people might.

If there were to be a remake, I hope they keep out Friendships, Babalities and Animalities and add/alter a more arenas and stage fatalities.

If they re-kreated the MK series, how would you change things? Arenas? Roster?
