Thats exactly what i was trying to say!

Reptile's DA look, while admittedly goofy-looking, made a hell of a lot more sense than keeping him as a ninja. Reptile's not a ninja; he's a Raptor that took the form of a human ninja when he became Shang Tsung's bodyguard. Appearing as human is one of the Raptor's traits (see Khameleon for more details), and, since they had already nearly been annihilated in their normal forms in a war, they apparantly decided to use that ability to 'blend in' and keep from getting slaughtered. When Shao Khan was defeated in MK3, Reptile began to go mental, which made him begin to lose his ability to keep his human guise on. This just got worse after Shinnok was defeated and Shao Khan was supposedly killed. Now he's all but lost his human 'form' along with his sanity, thus making him appear as his normal form: that of an intelligent dinosaur. Why else would he have a reptilian head when he pulled off his mask to do his fatalities when he was a ninja?

It just made sense that Reptile would be more like an actual reptile in DA, instead of another generic ninja, since he really isn't one. Though, agreed, he looked rather anemic and gecko-ish in the game. He should look more like a velociraptor, not a damn iguana...

Midway messed up one of the greatest mystery characters of all time. Fighting lizard c-mon his ninja form was way better. Can we get him back to ninja form?

I agree that reptile was better in his ninja form, but im not saying that him being a lizard was bad either. I think the reptile in mk4 was pretty good, but they just totally blew it out of proportion in mkda

i think they're just upgrading him.
