I bought MK Advance when it first came out because I'm a big fan of the 2-D games but was extremely disappointed at how messed up the gameplay was. All the things you've heard about the game are probably true. If you got any versions for the GBA, get Deadly Alliance or Tournament Edition. Those are wayyyyyyyy better. That or invest in a PSP and get Unchained.

I would've preferred a proper 2-D game from Midway myself but you can't win 'em all.

You could buy MKA or you could sit around and wack-off with bengay to a cookbook but they both make about the same amount of sense.

Get Tournament Edition or Unchained, I have both and I both all the time and like them both a lot.

You should buy MK:TE,it's a lot better.

Woah first of all WHERE is MK.TE. I got MK advance for my GBA, and it sucked. Its way too hard but MK.TE, i never heard of it.

Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition. you can find it at EB Games, or online, or where ever you like to buy used/older games

Yeah,its like a Portable version of MKDA except it has lots of costumes(Just palette swaps though),and the three new characters:

my god. This forum is completely dead.

This topic is more then a year old, I might have made up my mind by then. Really, this forum is just wasting space.

I'll just go ahead and close this topic, then... since it's apparently you're no longer interested in it. As for the state of this forum... it has never been very active, and indeed may be removed and incorporated into other forums in the near future.
