I think youre wrong. The only reason Shang Tsung didnt become boss in mk2 is because shao khan took over and forced shang tsung to serve him in exchange for his life. Shang tsung then served him in mk2 and 3. Im trying to remember this from 10 years ago, and i even know the storyline from way back. The reasons are knowsn.

HELL NO! mostly reason i wouldnt like the idea is, well, SHANG TSUNG, i mean, how much more story do you want from shang tsung? he's evil, he sucks, he was shao kahns sex slave, what more do you want? No, I don't like the choice of the character. Shang Tsung wouldn't be a good enough character to make a game about him.

Personally, I hate the idea. A Scorpion would be better in 3D too (IMO).

of course everyone knows the story of shang tsung from mk mythologies til now. but most, of any at all, dont know why he chose to serve shao kahn and live in the outworld. it is said he was suppose to fight for earth in mortal kombat. shang tsung as a character was fun as hell to play with. shang tsung storywise was an asshole and he deserves to die. and everyone and their momma wanna see a scorpion game so why bother even bringing it up? it would be nice to explain some other mk character stories besides the ninjas.
