I got it, the only way we the final secret can be unlock is if we get all the version of mkda make a save file for each and do the version cheat thing, then we will get a message, "Congrats, You just saved Midway from buy-out, and for you help...you now will be able to beat up John Remaro"!!!

I wasn't a believer, I know enough not to buy into the hype of a "final secret". Honestly, I don't believe it is anything useful anymore simply because it's been rumored to be a simple version code.

about this whole 12:43 thing..i was just lookin at some screens of DA..and in arcade mode it has that timer at the top..has any one tried to beat the game on max with kenshi in under 12 min 43 sec??..just a thought

To time it well is very difficult.

This guy doesn't work for Midway, nor does he know anyone there. There's no way they would make up a final secret to keep people playing or to get more copies sold. Anyone who is inetrested in a final secret is already a hardcore mk player and does not need to be tricked into playing the game to sell more copies.

This stupid version code is probably the final secret that Paolo Garcia was referring to. But, the "final secret" has been so built up, it would be embarrassing to acknowledge the version code as the final secret we've all been searching for.

And as for the 12:43 time - the dev team already confirmed it means nothing.

I'm sure MKD will be full of secrets and "alities" like all the other MK games before DA. We'll just look back one day at MKDA as being a good fighting game but not really a typical MK game since there are no secrets whatsoever and few "alities". That's just the way it is.

Just look at it this way: Mortal Kombat: DA had the best graphics of all the other mk games, but mk3, mk4, and mk gold, were all better because they had secrets which made them funner. even after all of the character losses in DA, I bet all of you would enjoy playing the old games. (Including mk: advance).

As full of shit as he was with the Chen thing, jamshead makes an interesting point. I said this a long time ago. Perhaps time has to do with the secret, remember, the PS2 does have a clock.

Well, no. At MKDA's release a future MK was uncertain, let alone the release date.

It's not the version code. It says it in the beginning of this post.

"The version code in MKDA IS in there. I was not the programmer who put it in and I am sure that it was never intended to be discovered. Off the top of my head I don't think I can remember what the code is..."

So, at this time, the existence of the version code can be confirmed. However, Ed's answer indicates that this may or may not be the final secret mentioned during the Fight Night chat. At this point, we'll leave it for the fans to decide.

Sorry about the "Chen" thing, It was the only thing that I could think of to keep everybody guessing (Just trying to make the conversation interesting). But perhaps the final secret could be leading to how long the intro movie started, lasted, and ended. It could also be relating to shang tsung and quan chi bringing one of their DK soldiers into gameplay....you decide.

Or maybe one could play as GORO! Seriously, I don't think Midway could've kept another character hidden for this long in the game. Someone would've found another by now.

hey, i havnt read all the posts on here, i havnt read the posts on here in a long while, and maybe someone already mentioned this and/or tried this but..

wat about using button combinations on different levels while in 2 player combat or maybe u have to do it on a certain menu like Scorpions special moves menu? idk, just a though

I might have a couple of clues that might just be the "FINAL SECRET:

-When you go in the krypt you can hear voices saying "TIME" and "TIME WILL LEAD YOU TO NOOB SAIBOT". Maybe that means you have to beat the game in under 3 hours or something like that???

- In the portal stage if you look at the blocks of stone you can see the button combination Down, circle, triangle. Maybe you have to play as shang tsung, quan chi or raiden and type in that combination.

- On the portal definition it says that you must break the blue sphere in order to travel through the portal. Maybe you have to use a move eg. quan chi's fireball or blaze's flameball and brake the sphere???

- Another clue: why would the koffins have letter names in the first place? maybe you have to open them alphabetically???

- Maybe the final secret is an extra video you unlock by completing the game in easy, medum, hard and max and novice.

- Maybe the final secret has something to do with every character? Remember that every character has a story behind them. Maybe you have to unlock their story or sumthing?

- maybe raiden has nothing to do with the secret. After all, he did say he "relinquished his status as elder god".

- In the krypt you can hear a voice saying something, but i can't properly hear it, can some1?

- Maybe when you are shang tsung and playing in Shang Tsungs palace, when the souls are flying past you, maybe use SOUL STEAL and see if it sucks a different soul???

- maybe the final secret is that you can maybe be able to play as GORO or LIU KANG or someone from the dragons king undefeatable army???

- On moloch if you look carefully you can see some letter combinations on his rock ball. Maybe that's the button combinations.

- Maybe in 2 player you have to be shang tsung vs quan chi, and maybe win 50 times ???

- Maybe the final secret is you can play as BARAKA???

- Maybe the final secret is a new stage. If you unlock ever koffin and go to extras u can see concept maps of older stages in other mk games??

- I beleive he final secret is a code you input at the main menu. This is where you normally put codes in for most games. Keep trying button combos people!

- The ghost in the house of pekara looks a lot like lui kang. maybe you can unlock him or verse him somehow.

- It is stated in Kitana or Li mei's ending (not sure), that the deadly alliance had been defeated. Maybe you have to beat the game with shang tsung and maybe unlock something???

Thats all the clues i've got for the "final secret" what i might be. Please people keep trying codes and stuff because im 99% there is a final secret and a version code.

I think what BOON is trying to do is wait until evry mkda has bursted there brains trying to find the final secret, and then he will just say something like " the final secret is triangle ,triangle, square and X".
