Also, a few of you might be saying "how do we know you won't make up the votes" well you won't know, I guess you'll just have to trust me..heh. but seriously, id be a SERIOUS ass to make up votes just so I can "prove" that a character is more popular. I will always like Sub-Zero more whether is less or more popular, Im just interested to see who really is.

im goin with Scorp, altough Sub does kick major ass and will always be among the top MK characters.

I think everyone knows what my answer is just by looking at my username. Although I like both characters a lot, I prefer Sub-Zero because his storyline to me is deeper and he represents an ancient Chinese clan that is believed to have existed in real life and whose techniques pre-dates Ninjitsu. And you gotta love Sub-Zero's alternate costume look in MK: DA.

Sub v Scorp. Honestly, they have always been my two fav characters in every MK (Except Reptile), with the exception of 3 cuz we only had SZ to chose from. Overall i think SZ was always a better character to play with the exception of MKDA cuz Scorpion just owned in it. But in MK1, well, I guess they were about equal cuz the gameplay really wasnt that tight in it. In Mk2 i think Sub had the upper hand with the intro of his Ground Freeze. In Umk, sub just owned with his clone and ice shower. In Mk4 i think Sub had the advantage only because they gave him the Ice clone plus the Ice wand(which was a sick weapon), if you take either move out i think Scorpion would of owned. But then in DA they finally gave Scorpion the edge that he much deserved, but maybe to much of an edge.

It seems that SZ, always got the extra attention with the addition of new/useful moves in each MK, where Scorpion mainly remained the same character throughout the life of MK, with the exception of DA.

In conclusion, i guess SZ has predominantly been the better char, but i prefer Scorpion out of the two. I always go with the underdawgs!

Scorpion.

Characterwise I always liked his simplicity. Also, I thought he fit into the MK games better then most because he had a legitimate reason why he could keep coming back.

Not to mention the fact that without him, MKT teleport fests wouldn't be as much fun (2 on 2, low damage, no chars besides Scorp, Smoke, or Ermac allowed). Those were some crazy matches. MK2KungBroken knows what I mean.

I like Scorpion best, but I like both.

I dont feel like getting skull points today, so I'll just say it again. If you don't like this topic..don't post in it. Humanity today just disturbs me sometimes. Maybe it's the low level of common sense that some of us have that disturbs me more.

Nikodemus..I know of that poll, but people like to revote constantly. Im not trying to point fingers, but there are some pretty ignorant scorpion/sub-zero fans here, and I wouldn't be surprized in the least bit if people voted multiple times. I have a feeling Scorp is more popular, but I just want to know for sure.

scorpion IS the most popular. hes won every mk ninja poll and every scorp vs sub poll. every single one. check any mk site that has had those polls..check their forums. every time this poll is done (and ive lost count) scorpion is always the winner, and having another poll isnt going to change that. and just having it on here and calling it "the poll to end all polls" is stupid..no offense.. considering its only on this one forum. what about the other mk sites and forums?? not all mk fans come to mk5.org..why not make a REAL poll and just post the link in all the mk forums??

Also, even if you did make an actual poll for this, how do you know people wont delete his/her cooki and vote over and over? you want a clear answer but i can honestly say youll probably never get it..either way, scorpion will win. and in case i wasnt clear, scorpion gets my vote. *btw, i had to mispell "cooki" cause every time i tried to post with it spelled correctly, it said "message format error...were sorry, but the message you intered is invalid. go back and try again"..wtf?

For the "delete cooki es" cheaters, the webmaster could delete all votes made by the same IP address and update the poll to show true results.

I am quite positive that Scorpion is and always will be the most popular of the two.

But, I have always preferred Sub-Zero. He is the ever-changing and improving character.

Scorpion has always had relatively the same moves and the new moves he did get weren't that good. The leg tackle in MK2...even if that connected he would eat almost any move in retaliation if the one retaliating knew how to react correctly. The fire breath in MK4 was really only for combos, outside of that it pretty much sucked. His only improved new move was his forward teleport in MKT. But like DreemerNJ said, he has always been a simple character and that is a good thing. Until MKDA, you could always pick Scorpion as your first character in any new MK game and know exactly how to do his most popular moves.

Sub-Zero for me keeps getting better with every game. Ground Freeze in MK2, Ice Clone/Shower in MK3/U, Ice Scepter in MK4 (truly sick weapon ). I've always liked freezing my enemies, making them helpless to any combo I desire. With Scorpion, you could only do ground based combos. If you hit with a spear and jumped, they were no longer stunned...I've always hated this and has drew me away from Scorpion.

Obviously for me Sub-Zero.

Oh well Scorpio. Whoever wins this poll to me is the one I'll consider to be the more popular char.

It might be nice to have some clarity regarding your question. Are you asking who we think is the most popular. Or who our personal favourites are?

Of the two, I prefer Scorpion. I've also always perceived him as the general fan favourite. So in my case, clarity isn't necessary, but it might be nice for others.

I'd always go with Sub-Zero, but I find most of the people I know prefer Scorpion.

I dont care about who you think is more popular. I would like to know who you like more.

I use scorpion and he is one of my favorite caracters but the one i have always admired the most was drum roll......Sub Zero.
