2.Liu Kang- everything.

3.Raiden- same as Liu.

4.Rain- nothing special.

5.Jax- flat story.

6.tanya- needs an extreme makeover.

7.Hsu Hao- lame.

8.Johnny Cage- should have stayed dead.

9.Kai- cheap character.

10.Smoke- just another ninja.

1. Frost- Shes just a female version of Sub-Zero, wow how kool and unoriginal.

2. Li Mei- Rip off Mileena. Mileena is much better so this character has no place in MK anymore.

3. Tanya- Ripoff Kitana sorta and just lame character. No place for her anymore in MK.

4. Kai- Just gay, pure lame looking, move wise and story wise. LAME

5. Nitara- Her look could have been much better and she lacked as a MK character in moves and style.

6. Mavado- He's a joke. His whole style and everything about him is just plain stupid. He sucks big time.

7. Drahmin- Comon, another useless character that doesn't even feel right for MK. Since when does MK have no talent fighters with just brute force for anything but a boss or sub-boss. He was out of place.

8. Jarek- Rip off Kano. Enough said.

9. Hsu Hao- He was just weak in terms of character plot and move wise. He was shadowed by Mavado even though I think he could have killed Mavado's weak ass.

10.Shinnok- Good try at a new character but not good enough. Kinda lame if you ask me. It was either him or Quan Chi too fill spot 10 since I think Quan Chi always is lacking in the move department and well he looked alot kooler in MK4. In MK:DA he looks like a white ghost. Just lame.

People constantly contradict themselves.

Sonya has been my favourite character since the beginning and always will be. She's ruthless, strong and doesn't take crap off of anyone. Her storyline was original then and spawned a bunch of rip-offs.

1. Jarek- Obvious Kano rip off.
2. Shinnok- Shang Tsung wannabe.
3. Motaro- The crappiest sub boss character.
4. Cyrax- I really sucked with him, and never liked the cyborgs in MK.
5. Rain- A pallete swap too far.
6. Smoke (both versions)- Ditto.
7. Reiko- An irrelevant character who's caused a lot of arguments among fans.
8. Mokap- What were the team smoking when they thought he'd be funny?
9. Liu Kang- The cheaters choice. Got very stale after MK2. Annoying turkey voice, and goody two shoes persona don't help.
10. Jax (MKDA)- I really hate his new makeover. And his role's been reduced so he's now Sonya's bitch.

I wouldn't count meat. He was a cheat like Big Head mode and so on. You could even say he was an Alt.Costume for every since that is what he was.

I'm assuming Mokap and Meat do not count, so here goes:

1. Hsu Hao: Interesting story, but his look and his moves stole all semblance of greatness out of him and left little room for improvement in future games.
2. Reiko: Caused WAY too much controversy for such a generic character.
3. Blaze: Not only a Cinder ripoff, but a Cinder ripoff that was nothing more than a tip-of-the-hat to MK2 fanboys.
4. Jarek: Good storyline. He could have gone places if Boon hadn't decided to just slap him with Kano's moveset.
5. Motaro: Wow... he went nowhere.
6. Kintaro: See above.
7. Sheeva: Alright, it was cool to see what a female Shokan would look like, but she was just one too many Shokan. A simple concept sketch would've been enough for me.
8. Li Mei: Wow, so "Filler Character" really does start with an "L"
9. Human Smoke: The Jarek of the palette swaps.
10. Stryker: They could have taken him somewhere, but fell short with his move set and the choice of actor.
10. Johnny Cage: Tied at #10 with Stryker. Cool character in the first two games, but his storyline is way too static for the changes MK has been going through since. Boon had better fix his character, and fast, or kill him off ASAP.

thps_boy, Its clear you have never played with Sonya in MKDA to realize she is a Top Tier, much more powerful then Sub-Zero and MANY MANY male fighters.

Just for you too know, I consider FEMALES to be MUCH better then any male fighter. They kick ass and are so much better to use.

Scorpio and Queve are right! Females kick ass! Sonya is a perfect example. LOOK AT HER! Top Tier in all Mk games, and best in MK1 and MKDA!
