Is the N64 version better than the Playstation version? I picked up the Playstation version at Best Buy for ten bucks but the load times are so agrivating. Not since MK for Sega CD have I been so pissed off at load times.

Is it any better for N64? I know the loading is probably gone, but is there any announcer going "Round X" or anything?

Is the music complete? I mean not just the stage music, but the stage end music and stage fatality music in there as well?

I've read that the combos for N64 are broken, but that doesn't really bug me.

So is MKT better for PSX, N64, or about equal on both?

The N64 port has no load time and more secrets(which are all crap anyway) but other than that it is vastly inferior to the PSX/Saturn/PC versions. The annoucer and sound effects are in, but the quality is GOD AWFUL. It is seriously very, very bad. The music quality is about on par with early 16 bit games. The graphics look decent in pics but in motion are pretty bad and it's very noticable that they're missing frames of animation. Even simple stuff like the characters just standing there are missing frames and look very bad.

The only thing the N64 has that is cool is better AI. It is not as hard as the CD versions.

IMO Sega Saturn had the best version.

I think the PS version is just a tad bit better. What kills the N64 version is the horrible sound quality. But $10 for the PS version isn't bad at all. It's well worth you're money. I don't know where you'll find an N64 version though.

Pfft, does this really needs to be asked? The PSX version is fuckin ten times better than the N64 version.

The N64 version just plain sucks ass. the sound is terrible, the graphics suck and their are fewer charaters than the PSX version

The only thing that I really don't like about the PSX version is the loading. But sence I play this game alot. it doesn't bother me as much.

Jeez, so the N64 version is inferior? So I suppose that means every version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy sucks. Damn.

I'm sorry, but the sound cutting out, using wrong music on certain levels, the LOADING. Gawd.

I wish they released it in the arcades so I could've just MAMEd it =(

The music cutting out is lame but how can you compare it to the god awful music on the N64 port?

And N64 has wrong music on levels too.

the saturn version is better overall. (i own the ss version and i played the others) the only thing good about the n64 version is that motaro and shaokahn have a fatality. and the only reason they couldnt have more background music (like for the mk1 and mk2 stages) is because the cd couldnt hold that many tracks considering the amount of space trilogy already took.
