New actors? That wouldn't be a real HD upgrade. That would be a remake.

That's just dumb. MK2011 is basically an HD upgrade of the classics as it is.

I have loved the classics ever since the beginning, and I have just about worn out my UMK game for Nintendo DS. I was a bit ashamed however that thoughts of the game going to PS3 was likely going to happen. If it does go to PS2, which I hope it does, I may not have to worry about the PS3 for now. But just in case it does, there is also MK9 that I can go ahead and pick up and really get back involved with the classics. I have my fingers crossed that this comes true.

okay...what I can't figure out is why there is virtually no screen images or anything but rumors especially if it is allegedly being released in a month or so. I just wish WB would say "YES it's happening and soon" cuz it's really making me nervous it could possibly be a mean rumor or something. The grey area involving this title is just making me uneasy about it.

I have to admit, the cover art is pretty astounding. The arcade machines in this game look just like the ones on the cover. Props to that one.

But what I want to know is, why 3D compatable? I know gamers now want to expand the diminsions of gaming, but why would you take a 2D classic and make it 3D. I love MKD, MKSM, and MKA, but note that their not necessarily classics (yet). They're about the best 2D games with a 3D background (when you turned the camera, you can see the entire arena).

I want to suggest that the classics stay classics. Leave the 2D dimisions like they are, or they won't be 2D classics.

If it's being made, why has it been months and no new info has surfaced, yet we already have the cover?

Usually covers aren't revealed until towards the end of a game's production.
