i have a question i just purchased the full game and when i tryd to ply on xbox live it said "your xbox live limitations dont allow u to use this feature" and i have a silver membership and plyd sf2 turbo when it was released online whats the deal?

btw I just thought i would mention the buttons arent settable....wtf

Silver members don't have access to anything that has multiplayer. You'll need gold.

I found the 360 controller's D-Pad downright horrible for performing special moves!

I was trying to uppercut with Sub & his freeze move would perform if I was not careful. Sometime moves don't work flawlessly with it either.

Anybody else find this problem & can anyone reccomend an after market controller that IS good? Both my friends had the same problem too!

What's the Xbox version got over UMK3 on Mame?

This is fucking sweet. I've been playing for the past few hours. My only gripe with the game is you can't change the control layout, and I absolutely fucking hate the default Black, and run placement. I've always have with concsole release with this game, and I was worried this would happen where you can't edit the controls. It sucks becuase I could pwn more people had I not have to be forced to get used to the blcok, and run placemnt. I hope Midway release some kind of patch, or something to let you edit the default controls.

Other than that the game is great, online is awsome. I just hope they release some more gamer pics. I want a Kabal select screen gamerpic for my gmertag (obviously). Unless they are unlocked when you get the 100 ranked wins achievemnt. I know the UMK3 logo is an unlockable gamer pic when you get 10 ranked wins, and there doesn't seem to be anything for the single player achievments. The achievments are fucking easy as hell. Got two of them on my first match. The only 2 I'm missing so fa is the win a fight against Noob (I completly forget how to face him, since the down and start on "Toasty" keeps pausing the game on me), and the 100 ranked wins. The current leader on the ranked leaderboard is an ass. I don't know what it is about the way he plays, but it just feels cheap to me, and despite setting him to be avoided I still keep facing him. I was up somewhere around the number 22 on the ranked leaderboards too at one point, until I kept acing him.

I just downloaded UMK 3. And I must say, "What a great job Midway"! The online play is flawless. The only thing that is tuff. Is the Xbox 360 controller. But I'm sure with practice that will become easier to play with. No one should cry about it. We all are playing with the same controller layout. This game emulation blows Street Fighter 2 away. So don't be scared to download it. Its worth it. See ya guys online.

Can anyone get the friendships, babailities, or animalities to work? Ive been trying all night and have yet to pull one off. I know brutalities are not in the game, but why would they take out the other ones?

Is the only way to get them to enter the kode right before the match starts? Because I only have one 360 controller so, therefore, nobody to play with. and noone on live seems to know what to do.

No, play a 1 player game, lose, let the time run out and then the screen to enter the codes will popup. You need two controllers.

Then, exit to arcade and they should be saved.

It sounds like when you play online, whether or not they are unlocked depends on whether the person that started the room has them unlocked.

I'm really annoyed at the 360 pad yea.I mess up on the simpliest combos with it,And sometimes when i run or and press forward he jumps because of the crappy dished d-pad.Other than that the online ply is flawless.Although I have yet to play someone that actually knows what they are doing...Hopefully some good players will popup soon, I saw moe30W was ranked #9 last night but now i beleive hes 83 simply from 5 hours of not playing the ranking system on this sucks.

They need to patch the game. The unlockable characters don't stay unlocked for long, and actually reset. I'm quit pissed since it took me about an hour getting them unlocked by myself since I don't have anyone to give me a hand. If it's not patched It's pointless to keep inputing the code.

After spending more time with the game. I stand by my orginal opinion, the game is awsome, and they really did do a a great job at emulating this game on the 360. Much, much better than that crappy Midway Arcade Treasures 2 version.

I'm glad you're all enjoying but my online experience with thi sgame has fucking sucked so far. I have only managed to find 2 matches that were open (I have tried roughly 40 or 50 others, all of which came up with the message 'This session is no longer available'). And the 2 matches I managed to play were in slow motion. I havn't got bad ping (it was 4/4 on both occasions) but I can't find any games and when I do, they are slow as fuck. I don't know if its a UK thing, but if it is, it sucks ass over here.

Just host your own game. People will eventually come to you to play. I've had the same exact problem, and I said: "fuck it, I'll host my own games".

This is great news for mortal kombat fans!! I think i'm going to buy the xbox 360 just for this game...lol
