UMK3 NOOB fatality help

In UMK3 im trying to learn the fatalitys(so far just cyborg smokes)and it says(for noob)(close)hold block,down up,run and it kept grabing him but i still had fatality time and i did it 3 times before time ran out.so is this a glitch,is MKO wrong on Noobs fatality or im a doing something wrong.

edit: arent you talking about MKtrilogy,perhaps....??.the Fatality is (holding block and at CLOSE distance) Down,Down,Up Run,in any case dont release the block button to prevent Noob on doing a jump or the Teleport Slam.

The only versions of UMK3 I know Noob Saibot is playable is the Genesis & SNES version, and in those versions he doesn't have any fatalities.

Yes, sadly, it is. There're plenty of mistakes in the Games Section. But you can find the correct combination in reptile88's post above.

Yes. You're playing the wrong game if you want to do Saibot's fatality. Try MKT.

actually
hold block while doing it
then hit up and run at the same time
you can do it at anydistance
its the fatality i do with noob on trilogy
