sorry I didnt really explain it in the last post but the story of the version code is that someone went to gamestop and noticed a developer of MKDA and asked him about the final secret and the guy said it was a version code, Boon later said that there was a version code but it was never intended to be found.

sorry i guess i said that wrong...what is a version code

I think it tells you what version of MKDA you own.

I know it's kind of going off the subject, but don't you all think it would be cool that, for future MK games, that they'd put a code in where you can switch from the 3-D version of the game to a 2-D version of the game? It'd all be in one game and everything.

Yous have it all wrong. The version code is simply a code to give you alotta cheats..but each version or mortal kombat deception has its own code. For example:
MK:DA(x-box vesion)- Up, Up, X
MK:DA(gamecube version)- Left, Down, A
MK:DA(PS2 version)- square, up, triangle
do you get it now?(by the way these are NOT the real buttons for the version code, these were an example)
MK:DA(x-box vesion)- Up, Up, X
MK:DA(gamecube version)- Left, Down, A
MK:DA(PS2 version)- square, up, triangle
do you get it now?(by the way these are NOT the real buttons for the version code, these were an example)
