in real life.. if scorpion was undead, then him for sure... cuz you can't exactly lose. But if he was mortal, then subby cuz how can one even move who opposes him? Even greater threat is ermac...

That's a hard one, but...... I would have to pick Sub-Zero. I mean come on, it's hard to beat him when your frozen!

Assuming you mean in an in-game competition, and not a 'real' conflict, or a "who would win" scenario, I would choose subzero, simply because I feel that his moves are much more effective. The freezing attacks especially, allow one to pull of some nutbar combo's whereas scorpions, hook manuevre seems rather easy to dodge

I'd say Sub-zero, because he has much better, ansd more effective oves. I'd rather freeze some one and then uppercut they're head off, rather than spear someone, and backflip kick them away from me.

Dude, Scorpion has fire which melts ice. Plus he can teleport and has a spear. Scorpion would easily kill Sub-Zero. Scorpion killed the original Sub, don't forget that.

Yeah,but Ice turns into water when melted,so it would just put out Inferno Scorpion's flames.

Scorpion VS Sub-Zero

How they are now that Sub has the Dragon Amulet and that Scorpion Had become the Elder God's Champion and defeated Onaga single-handed. This will be a stalemate to me. Yea, Sub-Zero's freezing abilities are enhanced with the Amulet, but Scorpion own'd Sub in MK4 and now he's more powerful than before. With both there skills put to the test, neither one can one up the other, for this the match will be a draw, an epic battle this would be.

Difficult. Scorpion's fire wave and Sub Zero's freezing powers are equal in both destructiveness and unavoidability. Plus, both hate each other (though while Sub Zero hates Scorpion for "justified" reason, Scorpion hates Sub Zero wrongfully: Sub Zero did not kill his family!).


Won't be glad to make the choice, but... Scorpion. He's a spectre, an Elder God's champion, and rather unlikely to die for good. Otherwise, both of them have victory-promising special abilities.

It depends if its Noob or the new Sub-zero.If its Noob then him,but if its the new one then Scorpion.

Hmmm...Scorpion's spear move can still do damage. While Sub-Zero's freeze doesn't do damage at all, but it is safe to say he will.

I have studied UMK3 and both Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

Combos: Sub-Zero has a 6 hit combo, that does about 35% damage. Scorpion can do a 4 hit combo with punches and kicks (Assuming he doesn't use his spear move) and an all kicks combo (Also assuming he doesn't use the spear move).

Fatalities:Scorpion has the doppelganger fatality, and his flame shot fatality (one where he pulls off his mask and shoots a fireball at your feet, which then in turn engulfes your entire body into fire). Sub-Zero can do a body split fatality and he also breathes ice on you which freezes you and eventually makes you fall over and break.

Then there is the addition of Classic Sub-Zero. Classic Sub-Zero is pretty easy in UMK3. Pick any tier, and he is usually the first or second match. With the exception of Novice. He is the 4th. He has a fatality that is similar to the MK1 fatality.

My Pick: It depends. If the tier I have to fight in includes Classic Sub-Zero, I will fight Classic Sub-Zero. But when it comes down to either Scorpion and Unmasked Sub-Zero. Probably unmasked Sub-Zero. Scorpion can teleport, whereas Sub-Zero, can't. I will suffer a little more, but Scorpion just seems to be a little faster.
