Suprised: Jax, I never picked him, but he's pretty good in mkda, and kung loa, he was decent before but now he kicks ass
Kitana was shit aswell.
Jax was a very fun charater to use. he sucked in 3 and espeically 4 but not here.

Well I've been wrong all this time, Sonya is one badass character if you know how to use her right. I really didn't like her default costume but her alternate fits her very well, it sort of gives her that "look i'm no longer a leautenant anymore, but now a genera" feel, which is good. Sonya is now one of my favorite characters in MKDA.
Who disapointed me was Quan Chi, one main reason as we all know is his fatality. He is a great fighter though, his fighting styles are great, but his fatality really gives him a low score.

Dissapointed: Kitana. I liked her a lot better in MK 2.

Quan Chi dissapointed me because he looked much much better in MK4 and MKM:S-Z

And Scorpion definetly impressed me and Sub Zero and Kung Lao...well everyone exept maybe Kitana, I was a bit disappointed with her and Quan Chi. Quan Chi could've been a lot more badass than he is right now I think.

its not just to succeed, others must fail
Impressed: kano he has finnaly got his pesona (identiy) correct!
Dissapointed: quan chi i just cant get passed the fact that he look like a guy wuth a long nose... and his moves i thought would be faster and more powerful.
Sonya: She has always been my fave since Mk1, she has been VERY powerful in all the past games, but in NONE more powerful then in MKDA! She is among the BEST fighters of the game, her styles and combos are fast and powerful, her moves are deadly and powerful, her weapons are one of the fastest and more powerful of the game, and her fatality kicks ass, keeping the magic feeling fatalities should have! Her new look, is the best ever! I love the mean sarcastic face. Sonya has definitely evolved a lot in power to become one of the most deadly characters of Mk.
Cage: He has always been fast and powerful, but in MKDA he just proves he is more then just a movie star! He was given powerful styles, good moves, a very COOL and bloody fatality, with a very powerful weapon. Cage is definitely a deadly character in MKDA.
Reptile: Besides his look, that IMO is the BEST ever for him (finally something new and not the whole boring ninja stuff), he has evolved to become a very powerful and fast character. In previous games he wasnt very powerful, but in MKDA hes just one of the best.
Sub-Zero: Another cool change (finally), getting him old was a good idea. Besides that, he is still a decent fighter.
Disappointed:
Kitana: Its not fair. Such a powerful, fast, deadly, great looking character in other Mk games and in MKDA they only gave us her sexy look, no more.
Cyrax: Weak.
Mokap: I KNOW he is not a character, but still he sucks, he sure has powerful styles, but has a very poor story.
Blaze: I dont think his look is original at all.
Lets see...
Suprised:
Kung Lao: I love his default costume, I think its much more sensible than having his hat glued to his head. Also, he's got a nice storyline, and is likely to become the new 'hero' of the series. I've always liked him over Kang, its good to see he's finally got his chance to shine.
Shang Tsung: Very cool styles, and I've always liked this character so its good to see him back again. The 'deadly alliance' idea is very nice I think, it breaks that cycle of 'one powerful endboss'. Two villians are better than one.
Quan Chi: I don't get what everyone doesn't like about... sure his fatality is the worse but that's no reason for him to be called a dull character. His projectile is one of the best looking, and again his storyline is nice. Also, very cool weapon style, I'd like to see both members of the deadly alliance hang around.
Sub-Zero: Not bad, at least there was some movement in his storyline. The Scorpion & Sub-Zero angle was getting old, glad to see he's moved on. Training Lin Kuei warriors is a nice idea for him, also his involvement with Sareena was a nice idea, hopefully they will build on that.
Reptile: Finally... they make Reptile the way he should have looked. They worked their mistake into the storyling nicely though. He's fast and powerful on top of having a revamped look and storyline. What more could you want?
Kano: I never ws a fan of his until this MK, his storyline is helped out by the addition of Mavado and the Red Dragon. Now he can break this feud with Sonya that went on WAY too long.
Disappointed:
Kitana: Old storyline, overall weak character to use, and unimpressive look equal disappointment. She really hasn't changed very much since MK2, I'd say leave her out or try to find a more interesting approach for her in the future. She represents Edenia, so there are plenty of options.
Sonya: Sure, perhaps she was a powerful character, but the storyline between her and Kano is the longest running in MK now, and its past due for it to be over.
Jax: Same as above, and his purpose was pretty much done after MK2. Now, he just follows Sonya around, and its not very interesting. Also, it was quite annoying and offensive even how they stereotyped him in MKDA, I really didn't think that was neccesary at all. Either let Sonya be kidnapped or something, but these two characters are boring me at the moment.
Undecided:
Johnny Cage: I've always liked this character, he had cool moves, but his storyline was just bad. Again, he had some flashy moves in MKDA, but moves aren't everything. I want to see him back, but he needs a better storyline, let him be more involved with the actual cause of MK, stop letting it be about movies.
Raiden: Well, actually I liked him in MKDA, but I found it sort of dumb he reliquished his elder god status, when he could have just sent someone like Fujin down and let him lead Earth. I would have found his appearance in MK6 to be more appropriate, since the Dragon King will most likely be a bigger threat.
Scorpion: I know everyone loves him.. but its time for some development. He has no other purpose than revenge, for a few MKs it ws Sub-Zero, now its Quan Chi. Not really much of a change, revenge angles can getdull after years and years.
Cyrax: He was okay, nothing special. I liked his storyline.. but his moves need to be rethought.

I also agree with what someone said about Reptile and how he was better as a ninja.
I was impressed with Cage just cuz in prvious MKs with weapons he had a gun (which was stupid) but now he has nunchucks. His moves were also really hollywood which I thought was cool too.

I have been considered by many, to be the greatest gamer ever.
