MK3 is a better fighting game than MKII. Do you mean just MK3, or UMK3, because some people call UMK3 just MK3 for some reason, like Ed Boon.

umk3 is better then MK2, but what the hell, my opinion changes over time.

UMK3 is better than MK3 and MK2. I enjoyed playing regular MK3 back when it was new, but the Arcade UMK3 is vastly superior. MK2 is still a good game.

wel mk 2 is my favo game of all times. just the memorys that are tied to that game are priceless.

Interesting answers, I think it's important to stress the "game" factor, I notice a lot of you have stuck to that concept.

It would have to be MK3 because ,it rocks because fighters moves stages &bosses.but one things wrong it doesn't have scorpion.

mk2 cause its the hardest game of the saga and plus mk3 dont have scorpion

Mortal Kombat 2 is my favorite MK game. And in my opinion, it's better than even Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

eh..they both have there pros and cons.

MK2 has a better character roster, better fatality's and has a great feel to it
MK3 has better gameplay, more characters and more fatality's.
I would say they were about equal, it really depends on what you like more about the games.

I'm sticking with MK2 on this one. MK3 is still good though.
