Which MK game seemed to be the scariest and most evil? I Think it was Mk Trilogy. With all the Fatalities, Broken down buildings, and music.

I think MK1 was the eeriest of them, but MK2 was the darkest and evilest because it was such a complete package of music, stages and characters, all of whick looked evil and cool.

MK1 was dark, MK2 was evil.

MK2 was the eeriest, due to the Outworld setting and new enemies (Baraka, Mileena, Kintaro, Shao Kahn.) But I think MK3 was a darker game. The Raiden messages at the start, along with the intro screens about the merger between realms. There's just an apocalyptic vibe, with the stages and music - I liked the feel of MK3 alot.

I agree with everything krsx said about MK3. I like the spooky feel of the first two MKs, but MK3 just feels so chaotic and, as krsx said, apocalyptic.

I will definitely go with MK II. You had boards like The Wasteland, which was basically just a bunch of impaled dead bodies under a dark sky. The fatalities didn't mess around; they were all brutal and relatively realistic. To date we still haven't seen a fatality as savage as Kung Lao's hat slice down the middle, or Scorpion's jugular slice/torso rip. And the way they did the Pit II fatality just felt more... "sadistic" than any of the other pits. It's still pretty much the goriest MK. They actually bothered to make graphics for severed heads and severed torsos and the little spine sticking out of the severed torsos.

MK4/MK Gold is the darkest one in my opinion. All the levels are on the Netherealm, and all the fighters are evil except for the ones fighting for Earthrealm. Bonebreakers, and weapons make it a little more evil too. MK4/Gold here.

MK4 music wasn't evil, except the music of the main menu. The other songs were all too... happy. For example, the Choose Your Destiny screen's song wasn't even scary, and so weren't many of the other songs in the game. The evilest MK Game, in my opinion, was MK2.

MK1, because every character is there for being champion, no one knows anyone, it gives them all the reason to be ruthless and dark. glasses

MK II and MK3, for me, are tied in as the darkest/evilest of the MK games.
