Hated: Nitara!!!, Sindel, Motaro, Rain, Ashrah, Sheeva, CKhameleon, Jarek, Stryker, the invasion of robots in MK3, MEAT!, Mokap, Blaze, Jax , Ermac However form the above list, the pnly characters for who I have real hatred are Nitara and Meat

Mokap

Bo rai cho, Hsu hao, all the new fighters from mk4 mokap blaze kenshi jax kano frost.

Sonya and Jax in 3 and Stryker. And any new character in MK4 and after.

Hsu Hoa (or how that gay guy calls).
Bo Rai Cho (A fat fighter doesnt fit in the MK universe).
Nitara (Such a poor try to make a Vampire Fighter)
Jarek (Again a very poor try to create a Kano clone)

hated- mokap, nitara, shujinko(old form)
fav-stryker, scorpion, nightwolf, sektor, cyrax

Hated:
Jax and Shujinko. These are the only two characters I can actually say I HATE.

Like: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kabal, Smoke, Kitana, Liu Kang, Baraka, MK II Jax, Ermac, Nightwolf, Stryker (yes I said I like Stryker), Cyrax, Raiden, and Sektor.

Hate: Bo Rai Cho, Darrius, Dariou, Sonya, Kano, MK 3-MKDA Jax, Sheeva, Nitara, Mavado, Mokap, Blaze, Motaro, Quan-Chi, and all the new characters from MK4.

I hated everything past MK2. MK deception has been the only one since mk2 to really appeal to me. I like deception, but still only use the classic fighters from 1 and 2. thats just me.

Theese I love to kill and cannot be redeemed:
Reiko (damn, no concept ever designed, he is a phantom)
Rain (another ninja ripoff with unoriginal moves and crappy story)
Shinnok (pointlessly evil characters don't fit in the MK universe)
Sektor (for too long he's been in the background, not original and needs a
sequal to be finished off by the Lin Kuei)
Liu Kang (zombie kang was good, but letting him iive again is too much!!)
Sheeva (the most overrated and most incompetent fighter ever created! A
disgrace to the Shokan!!)
Stryker (how the hell did he got there? Man, hope he dies out as a char.)
Meat (NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING)
Kai (too much good guys already!! PLus, he was weak and a fag in looks)

Theese could be improved a lot but they still suck big time:
Fujin (Raiden henchman, Kung lao ripoff)
Tanya (give her a goddamn storyline and motivation already)
Kitana (she's good, but needs a goddamn motivation too!!)
Nightwolf (an indian, please ... there could have been a mongolian or
nagian shaman for an oriental Mortal Kombat)
Darrius (get rid of her Jax look-alikeness in every way)

Those who suprised me the most and came back as superb characters:
Noob Saibot (the stupidest character ever, but in MKD he was explained!
man, I just sit there and glared at themonitor!!)
Smoke (same as above, i love her newer cyber look)
Reptile (in MK4 he was weak and his story sequences and looks sucked,
now in MKDa he owned almost everyone, hung gar rulez)
Sonya (she was getting old, but in MKDA she and her moves were original
Kano (same as above, except for the cannonball, the eye laser rocked!!)
Jade (MK2-MK trilogy-sucks hard, MKD-marvelous)

BEST NEWCOMERS:
Nitara, Mavado, Hotaru, Bo' Rai Cho, Shujinko, Kira

Kitana does have motivation. She's trying to redeem herself for the evil she did while she was loyal to Shao Kahn. Has been since MK2.

Really Like: Smoke, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Kintaro, Goro, Cage, - Almost the whole MKI and II cast. Also really like Sektor, Kabal, Nitara, Bo Rai Cho, Drahmin, Mavado (that's right, I went there with those 4). From MKD: Havik, Dairou. I'm OK with everyone else, more or less, except the following:
