kabal. kabal is my man in mk3. heres a good combo. web spin, lk 2, hp 2 down hp, jump punch then air laser. then run up on them immediately right after with web spin, then lk 2, hp 2, hk 2 back high kick. stomps. also cyrax is another i can bash with. finally, kung lao. he seems one of the hardest to use, but i can stomp with him

Kabal Robot Smoke and Sub are definitely top tier. Sub's iceclone is broke as a joke since you can do it even being on top of them in the middle of a cross up, and Kabal is still deadly with the higher damage combos than UMK3, but the jump punch and jump kick starters make up for it. For that Kabal combo, do a jump kick instead of a jump punch before the eye laser, and also, on Sub and Jax, stick in a little burst of run after the pop up and hit HP, then cancel the HP with run, this method allows you the most possible time (also known as biggest window) to get the jump kick air fireball. It's a standard 43% anytime you get the spin. Also, near the corner with Kabal you can get his infamous, double, or even triple jump kick air fireball, on just about everyone.

Cyrax and Kabal.

Cyber Smoke, Sub-Zero, Kabal and Kung Lao - in that order...

When it cama to human vs human in the mid 90s.... Kabal,Cyrax, Smoke, and Sub.

Cyrax is my best with Kabal, Sub-Zero, Smoke and Sindel being close seconds. I'm also getting to like Kung Lao and Sonya. I'll try everyone though to learn good stratagies to be at least decent with almost everyone. A good book that has helped with many characters is the MK3 Komplete stratagy guide from Gamefan published in 1995, I dug it out of a box

Sindel is one of my favs, I usually start with her. The air fireballs tend to throw people off.

Depending on the opponent, I can own with Kabal. If I'm losing a lot with other people, them I know it's time for some Kabal.

Every now and then, though, I'll get lucky with a character that I'm not especially good with. Like recently this guy kept beating me, so I just picked Stryker on a whim and finally got my first whim. I know he's a great fighter, it just surprised me because I'm not especially good with him.

If I can tell that my opponent and I are equally matched, then I'll bust out the Random Selects.

Kabal and Sub-Zero are both deadly. Kabal's combos do quite a bit of damage and getting a 45+% with him is way easy even for a noob to the game. Sub-Zero pwns because of how his Ice Clone works in MK3. You can do it while the opponent is right up against you. This makes the clone nearly impossible to avoid at times. Also Smoke is pretty good he has a lot of good moves that can make him a pretty dangerous opponent.

Since the best part of 3 was the trilogy, I will with no doubt pick Noob Saibot. He is by far the strongest character in the game with his "disable " projectile.
