Tsung is high mid tier in both MK2 and UMK3.

Kitana? Upper tier in MK2, and very mid in UMK3. She is easily outsmarted in MK2. All low projectile users work well against her (Kang) but don't build on this.

kintaro and shao kahn are the strongest lol.

Tsung is bottom tier in MK3 and UMK3. Him and Sheeva are the worst characters.

On a serious note, many experts will say Mileena or Jax and I can kind of see where they are coming from. I found Jax's uppercut to be quite good. I found Liu Kang to be a little bitch due to his fireballs. Who is low tier in MK2 and MKT?

Yeah pretty much. Jax was also a ton of fun in MK3 with that really fast projectile.

Shang Tsung

He can morph into anyone. Has triple fireball and his summersault jump kicks have priority over everything except for Baraka's summersault jumpkicks.

1. Mileena - Low Air Sai, easy as hell corner punishment (huge damage), MK2 female ninja kara-jab's are the best as they hit lower than anyone elses. Her only real threat is Scorpion.
2. Jax - HK, Projectile, Ground Pound. Simple.
3. Kitana - Damage, and kara-jab with b+HP...not to mention those damn needle toe kicks lol
4. Liu Kang - Fireballs everywhere, and uppercut is best in game.
5. Kung Lao
6. Baraka
7. Cage
8. Scorpion
9. Shang Tsung - He doesn't even need to morph...jump kick, HK, kara-jab and sweep are all he needs to keep the pressure on.
10. Raiden
11. Sub-Zero
12. Reptile

it was already mentioned that his morphs are slow yes, but in addition to that, you can't know exactly when his morph ends, and the little time he needs to recover his "shang" form makes him an easy target for fast players....not to mention it will cancel the move you were about to begin with him....so the fact that he can morph into anyone is not a valid arguement to say "he's the best".

I think Shang Tsung should be given a "varies to and from" scale, since if he is morphed he is pretty much the other character. And there is no way that he is bottomt tier with Sheeva as concrete, maybe he can be that wor-se, but Tsung is pretty much a halfway decent character in MK3-UMK3.

It's all partially dependant on wether how much you use morphs. And you can fight while having the morphbacks in periods of time when your oppo-nent is unable to attack (would like to see those who can do and time this).
