Yeah Moloch sucks..what a joke of a sub boss. Goro and Kintaro! That's where it's at.

True dat. IMO Motaro was the same amount of easy as Moloch was. Only Kintaro was the ruffest, tuffest and baddest Sub-Boss eva, PERIOD.

Well, I've got to be honest. Not being much of a super gamer - I have a pretty tough time with Moloch! My best characters are Kano and Kung Lao, so I usually have to resort to these guys to get over this hurdle. In fact, I have more trouble with Moloch than I do Shang Tsung or Quan Chi.

I'd say Kano is my very best, using his blades to use cheap move after cheap move. Lots of those big wave slashes.

My best character against Moloch would have to be Kung Lao. I use a short combo from his first fighting style, which pushes Moloch away for a second. Then I whip out my sword a slash him a few times. I keep doing it until I win. Easy.

i like to stomp ass with scorpion and the kung lao...the moves are quick and can be linked very easily

Scorpion is probably the quickest character in the game. For that reason, he has some cool, long combo's that are linked very easily. He's not like Sub-Zero having moves that are powerful but don't look too good, and are hard to link together. Scorpion has powerful, easily linked combo's. But I still can't do very good against Moloch with Scorpion. So I use Raiden for that.

It all depends on which strategies you use.
Here's some i use:

Scorpion:
Pi gua - 2,2,1 works a charm
Pi gua - 3,4 Keep alternating
Hapkido - forward+3, back+3, followed by 2,2,1
Hapkido - 2,3, back+4 and/or 4, back+4 to create some distance

Frost:
Daggers - 1,1,1,1

Cage:
Nunchukas - 1,1,1,1

Raiden:
Staff - forget how his combo goes, its the 4 hitter-one

Shang Tsung:
Crane: 2,2,2,3,3,3, back+4
Snake: 2,2, back+1, 2
Straight Sword: his longest one, forgot how it goes.

Moloch is easy, it bores me.....
With Scorpion, i use the Pi Gua 2,2,1 and his life drains so quick. I thik midway programmers forgot to programme how much damage Moloch takes with Pi Gua.
Seriously try Pi gua guys.
Sometimes you can do it repeatedly and Moloch wont even Block!

So far, Raiden seems the easiest for me. I just use his special staff attack repeatedly, and I never lose.

I find any character that has a decent sweep attack works well, Moloch doesn't seem to like blocking low that much, so sweep and combo, sweep and combo. I find Sonya or Kung Lao to be the best.

For some reason I could only beat him with Kano,I ran up and gave it to Moloch with Kano's knives.

t's because i keep using the "ear to ear" combo.(X back y back) if you do it right it's damage is 25%

im not sure if i posted in this thread or not, anyway, i like doing jax's style branch combo, it is so great as i learned how to use it so great, it just rolls right off each other now adays.

The only fighter I mostly use are Frost,Sub-zero, and scorpion. Since I use them the most comforable fighting with them so I guess they are my best characters against Moloch for me.

Doing a sort of side step & a in/out approach I would have to say Frost with her daggers is very powerfull on Moloch. Next it would be Blaze same approach only with his Hapkido punch combos, Very deadly and fast!!

very easy against Moloch

Kung Lao. Do a combo up close, then when Moloch goes to hit you, jump back and slice him with his hat throw. Works for a flawless victory!

My top three would have to be:

Li Mei
Blaze

FROST is my favorites I use her and nitara to beat Moloch in max.

the rest are weak can not beat Moloch. they are looser and suck.

FROST (as many of you have said) - and as Raging said if you sidestep Moloch and repeatedly use your daggers with that 4 stab combo, sidestepping to the side of his boulder then it's a relatively easy (if not incredibly cheap)way to beat him. And if he does catch you just slide under his next attack and repeat the stabbing process!

4,4 then d+2 Keep alternating sometimes doing d+2 two or three time then go back to 4,4 because Moloch just cannot deal with High/Low mix ups. I never lose with Jax, Raiden, or Sonya. Though against Moloch Jax gets the job done fastest for me.
