Who was the best overall Character from each game?

About Me
"Attack of the killer gazeebos!"

MK - Overall best? Scorpion. With the Spectre, I just feel invinsible. Leaping over opponents, hitting the teleport punch, tossing the spear...burning the toasty.
MKII - This is a hard pick, because I get my ass kicked like Ali versus a 13 yearold kid in gym class. But the overall best character(s) in this game are Kung Lao, for his specials, story, and most of all the fatality.
Also Kitana, cause like stated above before, she has the best combos and is one of the most difficult characters
MK3/UMK3/Trilogy - Kabal (does this need explaining?), Rain - Great combos, plus I loved the pallete swaped ninjas, Noob Saibot - Had some of the best moves during that time...could've used the spear though. Baraka - Hit those chop-chop blades and it was over in no time.
MK4/MKG - Sub-Zero - Returning in the old school ninja costume, to me he was the easiest character to use for beginners. The freeze and the combo input was great. And of course, like stated before, he had some of the best fatalities (And story) in the game.
Scorpion - Just like Sub-Zero, an easy choice for new MK fans. He had some of the best moves, easy combos, and a good fatality (I didnt like his animality/Scorpion Morph)
Reiko - I noticed no one really put Reiko in their lists, but aside from the whole Kahn/Reiko discussions and what not, I think Reiko was a great character. I think he had a little boring story that made no sense at the time, but I loved his moves. I remember playing as him and pulling off combos, and ending up pulling out his weapon at the end and asking myself how I just did it. His fatalities were alittle odd, but they were both something new in the game.
MK:DA - Scorpion - Hapkido
MKD - Liu Kang - Awesome combos, awesome return, straight out the graveyard looking all Thriller-ish. Seriously though, Liu Kang's move set is above par. He's a top tier in this game, but I wasnt suprised to see his return. I brought the strat. guide and saw it...and just added one and one. Noticing how he was right behind Li Mei... I dunno, something just clicked that it was Liu Kang. BUT I think he is overall the best character in Deception because of his great moveset. Not only does it suit him, but it his very fun to play with. The combos that are open to experiement make his character one of the best.
Baraka - Baraka came back hard like your favorite band coming back and sounding better than ever. He had a great story, nice moves, and some good fatalites. He's good cause you can cheap with him...Chop Chop Blades, I used those alot. Still do.
Noob-Smoke - I love the tag team combos for these two. If only they both had two fatalities. But even without, I think they are one (or two, however you take it) the best characters throughout the past MK games
MK:SM - Liu Kang - ...showing you why he's the Mortal Kombat Champ. Overall, I think he has better combos, more interesting fatalities (Shaolin Soccer, holla at'cha boi). I've always liked Liu Kang over most characters, so maybe Im just biased.

MK1-Scorpion: Simply the best move in that game, the spear was a simple combo then an uppercut, or Scorpion's kick combo. My Rating: 9 out of 10
MK2-Reptile: Though Kitana was a bad ass bi*ch, I still think reptile's force balls and invisibility were top notch, even though I like to use subs and scorps. The icing on the cake is the mmm... after the fatality My Rating: 8.5 out of 10
MK3-Cyrax: You gotta love him in this game. The net, the combos. You gotta love his sound effects too. He made beating the toughest boss of all time, easy. My Rating: 8 out of 10
UMK3-Smoke: Plain and simple, Smoke was the most domianting force out there. Harpoon and combo. The easiest combo, for any character in that game was to jump and press the punch buttons. For robots, these were insane. But this is where my favourite fatality comes into play. Blow up the world is the most awesome thing you will ever see. My Rating: 9.5 out of 10
MKT-Noob Saibot: He was simply great in this game, the N64 controls were perfect to suit him, it was simple beating Shoa Kahn as him. Not as simple as Sheeva mind you. He still averages out to become amazing in the end. Smoke is better, but using Noob in MKT was simple for most. My Rating: 8.5 out of 10
MK4-Subzero: I'm going to make this one short and sweet. He you need to do is freeze, throw something. To beat Goro just do air kicks constantly. Overall not much to work with in terms of characters. My Rating: 9 out of 10
MKG-Sektor: Though a hidden character, when playable, he was awesome. The moves, what can you say. Just great, though the game wasn't that successful, Boon did well with Sektor. My Rating: 8.5 out of 10.
MKDA-Mavado: Amazing, thats how you describe Mavado in Deadly Alliance. I loved using him, he just pounded everybody. All you had to do was press X in Hookswords and you had an amazing move going. His fatality was just brutal. No getting past it, if you somehow pull out a liver and a heart with a slingshot kick you've got to be great. My Rating: 9.5 out of 10
MKD-Ermac: We are Ermac, We are now free to choose our own destiny. We seek to make amends for our sins, in the name of Shao Kahn. Ermac is pure awesome, the return of the oh so magic one was long awaited by true Ermac fans, and I'm glad to say on our behave we weren't dissapionted. It's his Telekenisis and the Axe moves which are simply phenomenal. He is a pure awesome warrior, and deserves more respect than he gets. His moves are as my name says, Poetry in Motion. So for being totally awesome. My Rating is: 9 out of 10. He is very close to 9.5 though.
MKSM- Never Played It. I know, that sucks I hope to soon.

Hmm, I ended up listing my favs before. As far as actual gameplay quality I'd say:
MK1: Best: Sonya Worst: ehh
MK2: Best Mileena/Jax Worst: Raiden/Reptile
MK3: Best: Kabal (obviously) Worst: Sheeva
UMK3 Best: Kabal (still obviously) Worst: Sheeva
MKT: Best: Rain would be insanely abuseable, and a more leveled but still best would be Kabal, and then Worst is probably still Shang/Sheeva.
>=MK4 ehh
