I think, the classic sub-zero in umk3 is bi-han with a non-canon story, because his ending tells he participed in the first mk tournament and he dissapeared until that tournament, and he appears in mk4 as noob saibot, but the human smoke's ending tells about "he will return in mk4", but that dosen't happened. Human smoke never appeared in mk4, only the cyber smoke appeared in mkgold
