I really don't "hate" Kurtis Stryker. It's just that he didn't have much of a storyline and his special moves were mostly technology based. That's why I didn't like the fact that Jax had the machine gun in MK:DA. I can understand that the cyborg ninjas had technological weapons, but that is different. And I don't know what's up with Stryker's facial expression on the VS. screen.

I liked the long stories they could give to other characters, but they couldn't do that with Stryker. Also, his special moves and fatalities seemed pretty stupid, the riot gun's range of a few feet always made me laugh. Thats why I don't really like his character.

As a fighter I think he is really great. However, I really like almost every character in UMK3 or MKT. I think all but a couple are really good. Stryker fits in somewhere near the top for his moves and combos.

personaly I think that Styker can help the Mk6 storyline.
Jarek and him as Rivals.

I only hate him in UMK3/Trilogy and I hate Jax in MK DA coz they use guns during the fight. That sux.

lol doesnt almost every character use weapons? scorps harpoon/axe. kabals hook swords and TONs more.

DickWallace has a point. There are a lot of weapons floating around. And, if the souls of the people of earth were ripped from their bodies en mass, annihilation squads of centaurs roamed the earth looking for survivors, and I could not shoot off balls of freeze, fire, electricity or acid, I most certainly go find Grenades and a Gun and lots of both.

I'm rather indifferent to him, really. While I like to maybe crack a joke about him once in a while, the truth is, I don't really hate him. The only characters I hate are ones that are so awkward to use that they're almost unplayable. I have yet to find that in a character, so I basically like them all. *Shrug*

1. Stryker's a fat ass.

3. What's with his outfit? It doesn't even look like a riot cop's. It's just a blue and white T-shirt. Not even a damn badge.

This goes for Sektor and Cyrax, too. What's the point of having super-strong, hi-tech weapons when they hardly do any damage? It's just plain silly!
