I thought Mortal Kombat Trilogy was the worst Mortal Kombat game.


The game was just a mess. The system made some of the characters so exploitative. Seriously just use Rain or Noobsaibot and you'll see what i'm talking about. The way Shao Khan and Motaro were implemented in the game was a complete and total mess and the way Goro and Kintaro were implemented was an even bigger mess.

The idea was nice but the execution was just sloppy.

me....... I hate MK 2 the graphiks were alright but the AI'S nearly impossible to beat and it laks characthers and kombos but was pretty good for a fighting game bak then but i just dislik Mk 2 kompared to alll the other Mk games

MKA is the worst MK game as it's the MK game with the most negative things.

Yeah, MKA was pretty fucked up, but it had decent graphics (although the previous MKs were superior in this matter), excluding the stupid aerial combat and non existent fatality feature, it was playable. Konquest mode although not as good as Deception's, was good in it's own way, so MKA is not that dramatically evil.


One that IS dramatically evil, ridiculously impossible to play, ugly as HELL in terms of graphics etc has got to be MK Advance. Give me a breack, MK Advance is by FAR, the worst MK game ever.

MKAdvance if you're referring to was horrible but MKArmageddon is actually not the worst MK game, trust me take it from a guy that plays all MK's online especially the 3D ones MKD was the worst out of the 3.

Most easy glitches, free throws and OTG's...MKA is much better with the gameplay. It fails with the online play though, for some reason MKA plays poorly online but the game whole is better then MKD is easily.

MK:DA is the best 3D MK though, most balanced, least amount of glitches and a lot of fun.

i really defend mkm (some peoples least fave) despite all its faults it introduces so many charcters, and the quan chi and fujin battles are great.

This game beats any kind of fighting game conversion for a handheld system, in terms of horribility.

All the MK games were kool once they came out. MK4 was awesome, and most people will say it sucked. But when it actually was released, everyone was playing it and thought it was kool. If I had to pick "worst", it would be difficult. I would say of all of them, Special Forces was the worst. But I know people are referring to the fighting games, so for the "worst", I would have to go with MK Advance...which was just a very bad re-release of UMK3, which was awesome. So taking each individual game into account and not its remakes or re-releases, I'd say MK3. Even thought I played it to death on the Genesis, MK3 just was kinda bland compared to the rest. It was too "real" for what MK is usually associated with.

Morat Kombat 3 is the worst 2D game ever

Mortal Kombat Deception is the worst 3D game ever: I found Onaga quite Hard to Defeat and their no good character at all.

From personal experience, I'd have to say MK4. It was just missing something that the previous games had (including MK3), not to mention that it was home to the series' most annoying character at the time in Tanya.

Every time someone asks this question I always answer with, "MK: Special Forces."

UNDENIABLY the single worst game ever to bear the title "Mortal Kombat" Released near the end of the PS1's life, you would think the guys at Midway would know the software forwards and backwards. But no.
- We get graphics that look worse than many 1st generation PS1 games. I wish I were kidding.
- Level design is a complete failure. Giant, empty areas with tons to explore and zero payoff for doing so.
- Story? What story?
- Sonya Blade got cut from the game. I thought it was called "Special Forces" not "Jax's Crazy Misadventures With Kano and Friends".
- Draw distance. I love getting shot from a mile away by enemies that I can't see (even when using the scope on my sniper rifle).
- Forgettable boss fights, horrible enemy A.I., just a complete letdown in terms of anything fun or memorable.

Nothing else comes even remotely close to the awfulness of MK: Special Forces. Nothing. Not even MK pogs.

No, the worst MK game is MKA.

Why?

Almost no new costumes, no real finishers, 2 fighting styles instead of 3. The fighting styles are not enough developped. Air kombat is ridiculous as the air kombat. system is the same for every characters. The endings are horrible. There's no bios although Midway released a few of them after that game came out. And the parries suck,

And, the most important: This game is supposed ending a generation, which isn't the case. All there's no explaination about the characters that were dead who returned. Due to this ridiculous storyline, we even don't know what happened to some of the characters from MKD.

MKA is the biggest mistake Midway did.

probably the worst (midway developed) mortal kombat game, i'd say is MKII, simply because the AI is terrible, and its just hard to beat it.
