Seriously guys, I think you are all just waisting your time and frying your brain with this Code Decrypting stuff..Just sit back and relax and let them hit the ball on our side of the field...Either that or just go on Ebay and maybe you'll find it there for 50 bucks..

You know, there is still ONE unknown picture left on the question mark page of the MK:A website. Maybe we'll get some kind of clue on the code when that's revealed...?
Of course, that's random speculation, but it'll probably be less of a headache then figuring out which one of 2.9 million different six button combinations will work for this super unlockable thingymabob.

The exact number is 2,985,984 combinations.
I wish I had the know-how to try and hack this myself.

I was just about to ask what this is for.

I thought about that a few times, I wonder?

It's probably just going to be some random picture thingy like the others. I wouldn't get your hopes up for anything spectacular.

Does someone with the game want to try something like changing the second and fifth numbers (there are six, aren't there?) to X, or something?
That's always been a pretty standard code in the previous games, and I'm apparently the first person speculating a return to the 'no blocking' or 'no throwing' codes.
Interested to see how you go.

I just copied what I said in another thread. It was pointless for me to make another one.
I put MKA into my computer.I found a file that said PS2MOVIES. In that file there was another that said KRYPT. There were all of the movies I know but 2 that I didn't. They were V_SZCCKY and V_BLUES_. I was thinking maybe one of them was the question mark box. I clicked on both but they said windows needed to know who created it. I didn't know what to do so I'm asking anyone who's good with computers and has MKA to try this and see what you find out. If you recocgnize these names than they are not the question mark box. I could recognize the others because they said V_BLOOP obviously bloopers and V_MOTOR obviously motor kombat. Some said character names which I knew were the tests.

I juss viewed all of the .sfd movie files with nero showtime...there are all nothing, some characters dancing around, ermacs concept bio etc. Then a evolution video of the konquests in the game. So still notting, whatever it is they must have hid it good cuz it aint in the normal folders on the dvd.

You could always assume it's not a movie file, put the game back in your console, and take a stab at my suggestion...
i would dude, but it would take forever...theres ways to find out everything, and the reason i was looking at the movies was to see if there was a different ending etc. I think its something...not to do with media...that was my only point. Can someone please tell me what program they used to open the .pak file on the dvd. TY

No it won't. I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying.
There are eight buttons to choose from, aren't there? With six places to enter the code.
What I'm proposing is that someone go there and change the second and fifth entry points to the same symbol. That's really very simple, with very few variables.
Either it's - X - - X -, - O - - O - -, - L1 - - L1 -, and so on...
VERY few variables, but with a chance to get a yes or no answer as to whether or not we're dealing with classic MK codes.
hmm i do understand ive seen you say that same thing to about 20 ppl now...ive tryed things like that tho, this is why im goin alternative routes because using your brain doesnt help, computers can figure it out, simple as that. Couldnt u always enter it?:

Have you tried exactly that approach? Because the things people are talking about seem to be far more random, without any basis whatsoever, and all I'd like to do is see this really simple, eight-variable approach done to help eliminate whether or not it's just an entry point for classic kodes.
Obviously if I had the game, I would have done this myself.
EDIT: And if it is receptive to gameplay codes, you're probably not going to find that out rummaging aimlessly through the files on the disc.

Alright, I got someone to try, and it was a bust.
He also explained that you can't recreate the example code because you have enter something for all six options. So, thanks for not mentioning that guys.

I don't understand. Are you talking about the example profile code. Can you explain to me?
