Yeah I dont think Kitana should be wearing revealing clothes either.
I'd also like them to not ahve her dressed as an assassin, as really, she isnt an assassin anymore. Well, not one of Kahns. her costumes ahve been pretty much the same since MK2. Time for a change.
I hope they dont keep her in the outfit from the MKA scans. For a start its one of her weakest costumes, and its too purple for my liking. Kitana's main colour has always been blue.
I'd like a costume similar to that of her movie appearances, but with more decoration. Iperhaps something like her shaolin monks outfit, but with all-in-one trousers. And I love the pont tail. that shuld stay. Or her hair should be down. no more bun!

She needs to have her Deadly Alliance blue outfit for MKA!
Her MKDA appearance has been her BEST yet and I would be so upset if they changed it!
I just really REALLY hope she remains the same, if they do change it I might not get MKA.

I remembered seeing these drawings done by Jax007. he ahs a few Kitana concapts in there, and I think they looks amazing. I'd love Kitana too look like these (especially the first one).

I'd rather they not have her with her hair down. In terms of real life, how practical is fighting with hair that is down lower than your back helpful? In terms of the game itself, long hair is hard to animate. Look at the way Tanya's hair moved in MKD and that was only shoulder length. Braids, ponytails and buns are the way to go.

I would like her with her hair down. Perhaps it isn't practical...but since when has practicility been a part of Mortal Kombat? I thought they animated Jade's hair fine and her hair was only tied at the bottem.

Kitana is also one of my favorite kombatants! In all honesty however, I really think she should take the fight to Shao Kahn and end it once and for all HERSELF.
What does the future have in store? I was thinking that IF Kitana survives Armageddon, maybe she can take the Bo' Rai Cho role as the trainer for future kombatants. I mean think about it, Kitana has been exposed to this tournament for over 10,000 years and she's lost many people dear to her.

To be honest Kitana sucked in mkd because they didn't have her original moves and her fanz i didn't like she needs the fanz from mka the movie those were awesome but kitana i think her mksm attire was good and when you picked her 2 times she has 1 in red meaning Skarlet might be in mk8 its giving us a hint that there going to get rid of her for a new ninja dressed in red.

Teleport punch: she flies up and comes forward with a punch
Fan lift: she can lift the enemies from the up position and forward like she did in mkda
Fan Throw: She can throw her steel fanz and she can also throw her fanz when jumping
Fan Slam: She can create a powerful slam by jumping and coming down hitting her steel fanz on the ground.
Fan Shield: She can use her 1 of her fanz as a shield and the other she can use to hit.
Fatality: Kiss of Doom: She kisses the opponent they become fat and xplodes

You can play as Kitana in MKD with an Action Replay though. But she doesnt have any of her two special moves from MKDA.

I don't know, but I always saw her as one of the most powerful characters in Mortal Kombat, and probably the best warriors of all females.
Sonya may be more aggressive, Sheeva may be more powerful, Mileena may be more nimble, Tanya may be relying most on magical attacks but Kitana has 10 000+ years of experience as an assassin. I'm sure she could kill any regular human in a single blow. What she lacks in brute strength and aggressivity, she has it in skill and technique. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else sees her as the most lethal femme of Mortal Kombat. I am currently on a character artwork of Kitana. Can't wait to have finished it.

Ialso think kitana is the most powerful of all the females. She would definitley be able to deal with all the other gals, and a lot of the guys too.
I think Kitana is very powerful, and i get the impression she is a very logical fighter. I dont think she would rush into things like others would (Mileena, Sonya) and I think her logic would outsmart others (Sheeva) and her experience would win out against the rest (Ashrah, Li Mei, Frost). Like you have said YingYeung what she lacks in agressiveness she makes up elsewhere. Kitana was always one of the most powerful feamles too IMO. In MK2, MKGold and MKDA she was pretty powerful. her main problem is speed. But she can make up for than in strngth/skill./tactics.
I think the only females who would be able to match Kitana are Sareena and Sindel. 'OMG ur only saying that cause u like Sareena' I hear you cry! Well no Im not.
Sareena was the lead in Quan Chi's main group of assassins for many years. Its tricky to outline Sareena's skills accurately since MKTE wasnt that good a game, but she is Fast, Powerful and skilled (MKMSZ). She also worked for Quan Chi for many years and was member of The Brotherhood of Shadows (ruthless people). For someone like Quan Chi to have her as anassassin must count for something and reflect her skills. (And her 'death' at the hands of Shinnko wasnt a true refelction of her skill etc since he killed her from behind lol coward).
Sindel, well the Queen of her realm, she also has had many years of experience. Although she was dead for the best part of 10,000 years, she was probably a lot older than that when she died. I imagine she would have lots of fighting experience, and would be a smart fighter. her MKD story shows she is logical etc, she didnt just rush in there and try to save Kitana, she thought it out and thought the best way to do things etc.

Story wise its debatable I guess.
Kitana is a powerful and smart fighter, but when put next to Sindel, a very wise and experienced fighter, and Sonya, earths female champion, I honestly don’t see her as the superior fighter.
Even Jade defeated Kitana twice.
Jade seems to be a lot more smarter and experienced then the other 2 female ninjas, since like someone said, she has been around as much as the other 2, probably even more, and being a guard, not a princess, she fights before sitting in a throne to rule a realm.
I think its debatable, but I can see Sonya, Sindel and Jade defeating Kitana anyday.
Now days it even looks like Mileena is just as strong as Kitana, she has become more smart, evil and calculating.
Gameplay wise though, Kitana is terrible.

i agree, even though I did name Kitana the strongest in the other thread. Jade is definite good choice for the top as are Sonya and Sindel. To be honest, there's so much to base it all around and it's hard to say who could be the strongest.
As for Kitana's gameplay, they've screwed her over ever since MK2. MK gold was the best she was since MK2. MKDA and UMK3-MKT were awful periods for her. And Mileena also in that respect. Mileena now surpasses Kitana in terms of who kicks the most as in game.
