Everyone thinks MKD is going to be another MKT and it is not! MKD's purpose was to bring back classic characters to defeat the DK with their own personal Deceptions. How would these so called 40+ characters each have their own story??? and part in fighting the DK. this game is already jampacked as it is.

Also how would they have their own unique fighting stlyes that is 3 per character (including weapon style) and people are saying 40 characters soo thats 120 styles that they have to come up with and 2 fatalities per character so that is 80 fatalities NOT going to happen and I doubt 2 people will have all the exact same moves. Also they don't have all that much room on the select screen to put 40+ characters I've even seen people say 58 characters. There is APPROXIMATLEY going to be 24-28 on the select screen and then you unlock an additional 3-5 hidden people as they have already stated.(Sektor, Lui, Quan, Sareena, Rain?)

Basically what I'm trying to say is that just be thankful for what you have stop being so greedy you are lucky they even WANTED to make a 6th game but people constantly want more and more. Put those ideas in for MK7 since we don't know what that game will be about. Think about it.....

The midway team has the brains and resourrces to make all of this, they wont reoeat anything cause they know they will ruin everything and no MK7 will be around.

Where did u ever hear that there are 40 chars?? Theres only gonna be like 24 and i think that the hidden ones that arent on the select screen just might have other ppls fighting styles just like Blaze and Mokap. Who cares though, dont make a thread and just complain, then just dont buy the game.

no 1 is going to be disapointed,we just want the perfect game.... i think every 1 already loves it.. even if there were only 24 playable characters were all happy.. every thing else is just icing on the cake!!! that icing will be yummy!!!!

I never thought of MKDeception as a trilogy or something... Anyway, it wouldnt make a difference to me cause they put all my favs in this game !

PEOPLE CAN SHARE STYLES! ITS REALISTIC AND NOT A CRIME!

3. Nice post otherwise. Personally, I hated Trilogy's over-abundance of characters.

Yea..30,31,32 are healthy numbers for characters in MK...but over 40???

I find a little bit easy and especially out-of-place on behalf of those who already have their favourite characters in the game to lecture the others by telling them to content themselves with what there will be... The givers of lessons would be the first ones to complain should the opposite occur: " will Baraka be in the game? ", " the game needs Kabal ", " Where the hell is Noob Saibot? " " Why to bring back characters who suck as Kung Lao, Quan Chi? "... That tires me, this behavior...

However, I'm realist : it's impossible to have in the game more than 40 character, even more than 30, I'm agree...

lol sorry i got mad but anyway i dont htink it is gonna bury a good threa dive seen MUCH dummer threads this 1 wasnt so bad but the next one i post will be more worthwhile. O and thanks for everyone that posted and agreed grin i like to edit

I won't be disappointed at all, even before all the updates, pics, news and trailers were shown
I knew Deception was going to be better than Deadly Alliance, Boon + Co didn't have to do much from the start to acheive that so at the moment I don't have any expectations of Deception, well maybe more gameplay ideas ie. parries grin but that's it.


EDIT: O and a revamp on the projectiles as they're still just being thrown forwards as if the game was 2D.

Where do I begin? Well, first off, there are only 2 months left until Mortal Kombat: Deception is released in the US. So far, they've added so many more styles to this game such as Goju-Ryu, Ying Yeung, Silate, Moifah, Zha Chuan, Mian Chuan, Vale Tudo, etc.

There won't be 24 characters plus a few hidden. There'll be more than 30 playable characters in total. I know this may sound a bit farfetched, but trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I don't think there'll be 40 playable characters but that might be possible.

As for the storylines, they can put some storylines for the characters as in all of them.

I for one, will not be majorly disappointed with this game. It looks great so far and hopefully, they'll keep enhancing things in the fighting and in Konquest, and in the Krypt and the storylines and those sorts of things.
