Kenshi was an instant favorite for many, considering he was BLIND and could still fight with telekinetic prowess. However...

I believe Kenshi was RUINED with him being involved with the Special Forces. I would've thought Kenshi as a wandering warrior, and he would've been PERFECT to replace Liu Kang instead of Kung Lao.

I dunno, I still think he's overrated. He's one of the best New DA characters. But I think Drahmin and Bo'Rai Cho were better.

I agree i'm pissed Kenshi is back i don't think he shoulda been in MK:DA he is a worse looking version of Ermac i didn't really like his story he just kinda jumped on the band wagon of joining the Special Forces he had the same excat sword as Scorpion so not only did he take Ermacs special moves he also took scorpions sword even thou they given at the same time scorpion is much more deserving of that bad ass sword kenshi shouldbe replaced by Rain

A lot of people didn't like the fact that Kenshi was in Special Forces and some say it might've ruined his character. Maybe this time around, he won't be part of Special Forces. As for the swords, there were different swords (Kenshi had katana, Scorpion had Ninja Sword), but both of them (the characters) had the same moves with them. Some of the other characters had them too (ex. Hsu Hao and Kano). I don't think Kenshi is a clone at all. Yeah, he and Ermac both have the telekinetic slam, but try to remember that it was Ermac's only telekinetic move. Kenshi had two more moves plus his Telekinetic Crush (I don't remember what Ermac's fatality was). We'll have to see how he is in MKD, he could be much more improved this time around.

ninja sword katanna it dosen't matter some text dosen't change the fact that their the excat same sword i mean how would you feel if they had two identical characters with different names (the ninjas don't count seeing as how they had different moves)

i didnt like most of the new characters in MK:DA including Kenshi i dont want him to return. but Blaze on the other hand i would love to see come back with a all new in depth story line.

I can not believe what the fuck I am reading. Kenshi's original costume is one of the coolest to come around in a long time. He looks perfect with his Kitana! His weapon combos are devestating and have great reach, both his fighting styles have major advatages. I think Kenshi is by far the best non classic character to come out....period!

I wouldn't say that ruined him--Kenshi is my favorite MK:DA character, and that wouldn't be the case if he were ruined. But the Special Forces thing was a pretty lame aspect of his storyline. It wasn't necessary--the story of Kenshi hunting down Shang Tsung to atone for his betrayal of his ancestors was pretty good in and of itself. Kenshi just doesn't seem like a Special Forces kind of guy.

I have to confess that I did not like Kenshi at the begging... but later i found that he was a really cool fighter even though I really HATED his Fataly b/c personally I thought it was Stupid I don't know about you guys.

His look is boring. Nothing about it excites the eye. He's just another Earth warrior, except he has a blind fold on. There were better characters in MKDA in my opinion.

Like I said, my personal favorite is Drahmin; his mask is awesome; It reminds me of a combination of a tribal mask, and a the masks that samurai's wear to frighten their opponents. his history is great (he was a warlord, sent to the Netherealm for 500 years for his Crimes, and became a demon). I can see that people don't like that he had no Combos, but he was still very powerful. Whatever floats your boat though.

Kenshi, to me, reminds me of Neo in the Matrix when he goes blind. I never liked him though. I wish it was just Ermac and not Kenshi.

Kenshi bores me i wish he wasnt in the game same with bo and lei.They all look like they came out of Marvel comics yuck theres nothing unique about any of them.

Drahmin is my MK:DA favorite. However, it really sucked that he joined the SF. That really sucked storywise...

I thought Kenshi was alright. There are two things I think would make him better:
1) His bio describes him as an expert swordsman. That should be the focus of his special moves. He should have sick looking katana attacks. Leave the telekinesis to Ermac.
2) Get him the hell out of the Special Forces. They're holding him back. Make him go rogue.

Kenshi was awesome in DA. His fatality was pretty gay but 1 of his Deception fatalies is the telekinetic rip in half and it is awesome.

Well... I am glad he has a better fatality in MKD

Of course i'm happy with Kenshis return, he was a great addition to the MK roster, even tho i really didn't like the way he was mistreated in his ending as well as in other endings making him look weak, i really loved his Tai Chi Stance as well as his telekinetic Powers, Old guys like TT and MetadragonX will surely be happy of him to return as they're along with me Kenshi Fans.

now that i look at the two swords in the game itself, they do look exactly alike. from renders I've seen, they're completely different and in the game they look exactly alike, my apologies. i think scorpion has a completely different looking sword in MKD (though it could also have been a stage weapon, who knows).

as for this post, kenshi is my favorite kombatant and I'm definitely glad to see him in MKD.

I thought Kenshi was a great addition and a way better ERMAC because he isnt another damn ninja. Drahmin was a POS fighter, sure he had original moves, but they sucked ass, Ball-o-Flies? Gimme a break, that is one of the weakest/lamest moves ever concieved in MK.

I think that Drahmin was one of the worst characters in MKDA, even though I liked his story, his moves suck and his "weapon" was WEAK!
