Am I the only one not happy about Kenshi's return?

Drahmin is so fuckn easy, there is no strategy to him, you merely link heavy hits with his special moves for massive massive damage.
Anybody can do that, it takes no skill what so ever to use him

I love kenshi, he was the best new character in DA, on the other hand I hate drahmin, and I'm not much of a fan of bo rai cho. But Kenshi is here to stay, definetly(sp?).

I am happy that Kenshi, BoRaiCho and Li Mei are returning. Its about time that characters became more than a one game wonder.
Kenshi was a good character. I liked him he was something different except for his moves. Kenshi took these moves to a higher level. He had a good story except for the Special Forces.
I also liked BoRaiCho. He was something different. Someone we could all laugh at.
I didn't like Drahmin or Li Mei. Drahmin had no combos.

Kenshin wasn't too bad as a new character, although I have to admit I was pretty disgusted when I found out that he and scorpion's wepon were the exact same thing with different names (It wasn't just them, every one that had the same wepons irritated me). But I did like his moves though,. he is cool.
But bringing him back into the same game as Ermac is kind of risky, I hope using both of them would not be the exact same thing or I will start slapping some blind eyeballs out of a skull.
| Wanderer Wrote: Kenshi was an instant favorite for many, considering he was BLIND and could still fight with telekinetic prowess. However... I believe Kenshi was RUINED with him being involved with the Special Forces. I would've thought Kenshi as a wandering warrior, and he would've been PERFECT to replace Liu Kang instead of Kung Lao. |
Kenshi is a wanderer. If you read his Konquest mode carefully you would relize that Kenshi signed on to the Special Forces as a FREE AGENT. That means Kenshi had no ties bonded with anyone and if he wanted, he could leave the Special Forces any time he wanted.

Kenshi is cool. His entire concept is just awesome.
I agree that he shouldn't have entered the Special Forces and he should definitely have more sword based moves.
As a playable character, I think he is overated. He is too reliant on the telekinetic slam and for him to be reliant on one move to inflict major damage is a little poor imo.
However, It's nice to see him back. Hopefully they'll make his story a lot better than it was and give him some more cool moves and some powerful telekinetic moves.

I wasn't a fan of many of the new characters to Deadly Alliance. BUt in sayin ghtat, Nitara, BLaze and Kenshi were the best of the newbies. But in general, I thought he was very overrated. He wasn't that great, and I think other characters deserve his, Li Mei and Bo'Rai Cho's places in Deception.

He was a nice addition for new blood. He should have had a different weapon combo set up then matching Scorpions or vice versa. As for him having ties with the SF, that blew it for me. That's why i try not to dwell on the story and just play the game.
I like the fact he has a tie with Ermac. It helps develope his and Ermacs story. Keep Kenshi away from being with the SF. and he could be a big roler!

I didn't like Kenshi or Drahmin really. Kenshi was OK, but he was def. in my bottom 3 of MK:DA additions (Kenshi, Drahmin, Mavado). I just felt like all 3 lacked in gameplay and weren't that powerful of characters. Kenshi relied too much on one move, as was stated before, Drahmin needed much more variety in his moves, and Mavado only had one damaging special move and very few worthwhile combos.
