The reason most people here prefer the old fightnig engine it's because they can't beat konquest or pull off the combos.The old engine was too easy,we now have something new and Midway will boost it up.
You love the old games play them.Don't think a game can remain 2d forever what will be the improvements.

That's the lamest thing I ever heard. Well not really but imo, Konquest and combos in MKDA were a lot easier than MKT or MK4/Gold. I agree that the game will improve everytime. As long as it is done in the right way.

If you don't think MK Deception will be great (as I do) that's cool... just wait for Psi-Ops 2: The French Title Change Conspiracy to come out and you'll be able to get a free copy of MK:DA 2.0!!

I must admit that I'm not really excited about it. I'll for sure buy the game when it comes out and I'll play until I get everything (unlockables, endings, etc..) and I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun doing it. It's just that the game looks a lot like MK:DA in terms of graphics, gameplay, etc. I was a lot more excited while waiting for MK:DA because the game was completely revamped with huge improvements over MK4. We didn't knew exactly what to expect. Also , it had been a way long time since we didn't have a new MK. Seriously, my focus right now is on the new Grand Theft Auto, this game seems to be huge with that dual-layer DVD thing.

um, not to knock you but you just contradicted yourself... you say you're not excited about MKD because its basically the same engine, graphics and gameplay... uh, GTA: San Andreas is just like the previous GTAs gameplay wise and graphically (albeit much larger... which I have doubts about thinking there'll be either ridiculous pop-up or loading or both) I'm not even dissing GTA, I know i'll be in line for the new one as soon as it's released, but your argument is kinda weak with that statement.

Im really looking forward to MK: Deception. I totally respect others opinions, those who say they arent really excited about the game. Hopefully this game turns out pretty good.

What is it so non-sensicle? I just wanted to see if there were people out here who feel the same way I do, I've seen too much stupid crap on here from fanboys who don't care about the games qualities. For example remember when this site first posted the pic of Baraka from MK6? Some idiots were like "OMG this game is gonna kick soooo much ass" and "I'm definately gonna buy this game" all because of one non in game pic they saw. I'm not saying that you are one of them, but I bet there are people out there not looking forward to this game like I am.

It doesnt matter whether this was the first or twentieth game since MKDA, the fact of the matter is when MKDA was coming out, I was excited, because I had never played the new style, and I had no idea what to expect, but with MKD I pretty much know what to expect, it's going to be more of the same, but with a new story, new/more characters and stuff. Don't get me wrong though, if I do play this game, I hope Ed Boon will prove me wrong.

Yeah, MK is the fighting game that gives you the most fun !!! Virtua Fighter crap, no blood and extreme gore! You kick the opponent and " Challenger Comes" ti-tu ti-ti-ti tu . Kind of boring after a while, always the same characters. I have VF4 and VF4 Evolution, played a lot but got really bored of it. It lacks violence, MK is more stylish and flashy. Tekken 4, got that game too, unlocked all the characters and got bored of it. It looks like a circus, a bear?! a gay panda?! A wrestler with a tiger mask?! You really don't feel the connection between the fighters. Some fighters are cool but I feel this series is passed it's prime since the good ol' Tekken 3!!!

when DA came out I hadn't played MK for years because by the time I got a PS and a DC i had heard horror stories about what happened to the series. When DA was announced, I figured I would just buy it as a trip down memory lane, fully prepared for (and in fact expecting) my fond memories to be killed and p!$$ed upon but was pleasantly surprised.

yes the fighting system is broken compared to other games *if you PM me I can argue with you to the death about why this is and why it's not such a bad thing* but Deadly Alliance 2.0 as it has been dubbed by a few, is allright with me, because when all is said and done, it will stil be a fun and enjoyable game *IMO*... new kontent, modes and hellz yes, online gameplay should have me addikted for a very long time to come.

The only gripe I have so far with deception is the roster. However, this is a huge problem, IMO, and it may prevent me from purchasing the game. But I have no other complaints. Everything else is looking great.

I've read a few of your repkies in other threads. Here's stating the obvious. You're not any good. And the best MK players on this board would kill you. including MaxDam. Just shut up and get off your ego trip. People who pretend they're good when they're really not have no place on message forums. Especially when that's all they talk about. I'm pretty sure you couldn't even tell people the tiers of previous MK's, why the tiers are like that, what a jump cancel is, or what a run jab is. I'm not trying to be "hardcore" either but put your money where your mouth is right away instead of hiding behind a game's release that won't be out until a few months from now. There's emulators and I'm sure people like Versatile would love to play you. MK2KungBroekn and Konqrr would love to as well.
