I notice alot of players will be using the X BOX/PS2 controllers ,being that I grew up playing fighting games in the "cade" I could never really get used to the non joystick feel when trying to play fighting games at home, even during the dayz of the first home fighting release which was SFII on the old NES I had to have a joystick,if only because it gave me just a touch of that feeling of being in the "cades" again...but anyway does anyone else here besides me, use a "stick"?

To be honest, I'd like to get an arcade controller and play fighting games on it, but oh well.
I play better on the home cotrollers.

I REALLY hate joysticks. How can anyone perform some moves and combos so precisely ? Practice ? I guess I'll never know.

Is anyone gonna put their xbox or ps2 in an arcade cabinet and hook up MKD through a monitor? That would be cool the first time you play the game.

I know what and how you feel about Arcade Sticks. I would prefer them over the home console. The last time I used a stick was on the Dreamcast. I may pick up another one soon but the home controllers have gotten pretty comfortable.

I think the main problem is that most third party "arcade" sticks are junky, or just dont have the arcade feel. Usually the stick itself is very short in length. I would love to get one of those $100 authentic arcade sticks that you can special order, but thats like half the cost of a console.

well....it's about time, gee,I was startin to think that no one cared for arcade sticks, but thanks to the last post ,it hasnt been a total shutout..(heh),but anyway ,If I gave it a chance I probably could get used to playin wit the PS 2 controller..but ya know what, I think I'm gonna stick with the "stick "(pun)cause I kinda think fighting games themselfs were ment to be played with arcade sticks, and right now I have the SHADOWBLADE,but if I happen to find myself doing really well against you guyz out there,I may just havta invest in the X-CADE stick which I think is like a 100 bones,if I'm not mistaken....
