If that really is Lex's Fatality, then Midway managed to disappoint me once again. Because now they would have recycled Sektor's Fatality.

I dont think that is a fatality, his eyes aren's glowing.

That's something I actually hope non of the characters will do in the final version. The eye glowing is just dumb.

Looks more like specials. I kinda was expecting that Luthor was gonna be stuck in that suit.

Also, I was thinking Luthor should have a special Fatality that he can only perform on Superman. Something involving a Kryptonite ray or something.

Overall, I'm excited. Lex looks great. If Midway plays their cards right, he could be one of my favorite characters.

Also, I haven't read many Superman comics but I'm well versed in the DCAU aka Bruce Timms' cartoons. Did Lex ever use any kind of flamethrower attack?

I haven't watched any of the cartoons in a while, but I only remember him using Rays and missiles in it. Maybe he had a Flamethrower move in the comics. I'll probably ask some of my friends that are more versed in the comic book lore.

Awesome! It reminds me to much of scorpions fatality except luthor is using a flame thrower.

I actually winced at Lex's fatality.

Brutal shit for a T-rated game.

Not any more brutal than Scorp's Toasty. Besides,it really doesn't look like a fatality.

I mean nuking his oponent is more like something Luthor would do.

He does he uses it when he fights Martian Manhunter.


Much like Batman, Lex is prepared for any foe.


But yeah he mainly uses Kryptonite beams since....he mainly fights Superman.

I like the special Fatality idea. Fatalities that are only available against certain opponents. Though I can't think of anything else right now, beside the Kryptonite rays against Superman.

Hmm.... Batman Vs. Joker. Beat him to a pulp then handcuff him? Nah.

Ok:

1.- Cool pics.

2.- They seriously need to fix and improve Kitana's model.

3.- I LOVE the fire effects on the body of the victim's.

4.- If that's his Fatality, it looks cool, but it does suck that it is a recycled one from Sektor and that irt reminds us of Scorpions Toasty that we have seen. Hopefully he gets an original fatality.

5.-Baraka looks brilliant, so does Catwoman, the Joker and Batman.

Or the way Joker died in The Dark Knight Returns: Batman snaps Joker's neck but intentionally only far enough to paralyze him from the neck down. Joker calls him a sissy and then out of sheer willpower uses the last functioning muscles in his neck to finish the job himself.

Superman - Sheeva, Shao Kahn ripoff
Batman - Lame, Waste
Lex Luthore - Sketor, Scorpion ripoff, unoriginal, dull, boring.

Yeah....too bad about Martian Manhunter. I'm hoping for Kryptonite beams, missiles and mechanically enhanced melee attacks for Lex.

And for those who don't know, Lex is the mutha effing man. Go watch Bruce Timm's Superman cartoon. Clancy Brown does a standup job as Luthor, it's probably too much to hope for him in this game, though.
