Alright so here is what I'm noticing. I'm begin led to believe Barakas weapon(s) will be his blades. I know, sounds pretty obvious right? I have seen pictures, namely captures from the video, in which Barakas blades were retracted. Then there were others were they were fully exposed. Which leads me to believe that when they are out, that is his weapon stance. So what do you people think? Are those his weapons? Does he have another one as well? All opinions are welcome.

By the looks of it, it looks like it is. But you never know, things can change, maybe he could even have his blades AND a weapon. Hmmm, i guess for now his blades are considered his weapon.

I think they should be his weapon. I would love to see Baraka actually use some martial arts styles. I'd also like to see him use two impale type move in weapon stance, where he:

a) Stabs in his blades and hops around, while the opponent tries to get out by walking backwards, while Baraka tries to keep them in by walking forward.

b) He shoots out a pair and they get stuck in the enemy, much like Kitana's fans in Deadly Alliane.
I think his arm blades will be his weapon stance, but then he will be able to use the stage weapons too.

thats the most obvious speculation for me.

I agree. And I think Baraka will retain some - if not all - of his MK2 special moves that use his blades, which he can use in any stance.

If Drahmin can have his club as a weapon and Baraka can have his blades, then shouldn't Sindel be able to use her hair?

That Idea is incredible. Imagine how inovative and cool it would be for hair as a fighting stance. But then again, it can also has the potential of being annoyingly terrible.

Same here, I also think he will have his blades as his weapons. It would be kinda stupid if he had a seperate weapon, just look at MK gold.

I can't wait to see Baraka using his tornado move where he spins around with his arms out and blades retracted.

I think Baraka will have his blades as his weapon cuz in MKDA, if you look at Kitana, she had her fanfs as her weapons and those were her trademark weapons since MKII so thres no doubt that Baraka will have his blades as his weapon.

I think Baraka will use two martial arts stances and for his weapon stance his blades will retract from his arm.

I think Baraka's special weapon attack would be a 3-D move where he steps to the side and slashes his opponent. The move would be a mix of his (back, HP) move and Kenshi's weapon attack.
