any ways Liu Kang hands down. Ashrah that we really know of is only powerful really with the sword she found in the Netherrealm. well now without that sword a great deal of her strength is gone. plus it only worked on Netherrealm demons any ways...... i cant be too sure cuz we dont really know what Ashrah can do but we all know Liu Kang is one of the best. hes the MK Champ. very few.... if any could possibly defeat Liu Kang 1 on 1 (that 2 on 1 BS in MKDA pissed me off). Ashrah i dont see is amoung one of those very few.... if any...

I think Ashrah is alot better in MkD then Lui. I hate Lui anyways i think he is just annoying to face online too. So my vote goes to Ashrah

Ashrah (I'm neutral on her) is far too new to be compared to Liu Kang. Sure kang is a veteran warrior who kicked Outworlds rulers ass for three times, but then again, he was a mere mortal too, so someone snapped his neck, end of Kang.
Damn, man, how annoying Liu Kang can get in MK? Enough of the turkey vocals. He is one of my favourites in the Mk saga, but overusing him was quite boring and ruined his average concept. IN MK4 he already sucked hard. Oh, well...hope he remains dead and goes with some dignity.
Ashrah, becouse of Zombie Liu (great idea though) should rest in grave cleansed after Deception. What does Midway do? Give him final solace and restitude? No!!! They bring him back to be the earthrealm superhero.

Ashrah.Liu Kang is annoying,very annoying.The voice,the moves,everything.He's DEAD.Keep him that way.He's been way too overused.I do like the zombie idea but not on Liu.The ONLY reason that I want Liu Kang in a MK game is so that I can whip his silly,screaming ass.Ashrah is an amazing character.She has an awesome story and great moves.She is fresh and new and I think she would kill Liu Kang very easily.I look forward to seeing her in the next MK.

Liu Kang Hands Down! I've been part of this killer site since last night but I don't get all the Ashrah hype from some of you's... Ashrah is so unbelievably tedious and is a pain in the butt to use. Her moves are rigid and robotic. Whenever I use her I feel like I'm using one of the Golden Girls. Both her projectile and spinning canon attack only go about 2 feet! She needs to be put down with a swift bicycle kick to that big frisbee she's got on her head and Liu Kang is just the man for the job...

i don't judge characters about gameplay. Gameplay is irrevelant when comparing the characters. Why? Becouse you need to think of them as real persons with real fighting styles (so that massacre of a Judo in MKD on Kenshi doesn't exist in my mind) and -possibly- phantasmagoricaly real supernatural powers.
I just compare them examining temperament, visuals, execution, originali-
ty and of course fatalities. But hteese are only my own opinions. If you can't understand it, so be it then, I possibly wont understand a person who says that Tanya is original and so on, and so on, and so on...
Ashrah is gameplay hard. Maybe she's robotic on the screen but believe
me, she can get anyone into a mess with ease (67% combo)
HOT TARU IS THE BEST (89% combo)
So as I already stated, Ashrah goes on, Liu remains as the legend in the
past.
