i dont think u ninja haters understand. i mean, did yall read my mk analysis?? eventho u guys hate on ninjas, the MAJORITY of mk fans like them. and yall have to understand, there not gonna be pallette swaps anymore, boon learned his lesson and now there are more graphix so each one's outfit will be more distinct from the other. this one goes out to the haters that like only sub and scorpion, do yall think that mk would got off if jax had the freeze powers and sonya had the spear?? i doubt it, its the ninja 'mystique' that does it. and i'll preach this once again, if yall dont like ninjas in the game, play as them in their alternate costumes, there's your damn diversity! peace

oh yeah, frost was an excellent character i think. and i strongly believe we will see more ninjas bekuz subzero is rebuilding the lin kuei, alil FYI.

yes it would have. its not ninjas that made the game popular, (the pallette swaps are what nearly killed it) it was the blood and fatalities.
and i love all the ninjas..but having a mk game with basically the same characters would suck. you call us ninja haters?..maybe you just love them too much.

notice mk3 had no ninjas, and it also didnt sell much and most ppl said it was the worse mk. so a solution was made
mk3 outsold mk2. the only complaint back then was lack of characters..not ninjas...so the "solution" was add as many characters as possible as soon as possible to get it out there and make $$$..and that solution was the fastest thing they could think of..pallette swaps.

Ultimate mk3 - mk3 but with a plethora of NINJAS
umk3 didnt sell as good as mk3.

mkT- shitload of characters and lots of ninjas.

sold not because of the ninjas, but because it was the final 2d mk game.

then an mk rpg (mkM) was made with subzero; a ninja. good game, sold.

a second mk rpg was made (mkSF) with sonya and jax; didn't sell.

due to the disapointment of mkm and lack of gameplay.

didnt sell based on ninjas. it was the first mk to 3d and there was a lot of hype around it...not ninjas.

mkG - 4 male ninjas, 2 female ninjas, (not counting robots)

got the lowest score of any home version of mk (not counting mk advanced..which also had ninjas and sold like shit on a stick)

in conclusion, the majority of us die hard mk fans LOVE ninjas!
and what is the majoriety? was their a worldwide poll to determine if ninjas should return?..just because people "love ninjas" doesnt mean there should be a bunch in one game.

and when i say majority, no i didnt take a poll. but all of my friends here play and agree with me and i observe that MOST of the ppl on this forum do as well. so thats pretty much all of the fans i come into contact with. oh and just to remind u, this is a "Campaign for ninjas" thread, so maybe u should start an anti-ninjas thread and drink your hater-aid there brother. i think we SHOULD ask the mk kommunity if they want another ninja in the game or not.

im makinmg a poll now as i type this...and 1 ninja wouldnt hurt anything..i said 2 or 3 was enough..but when someone says "all the ninjas should come back...even tremor"..thats just dumb.

Originality and varity is just stupid. I hope everyone in the next game is dressed in a ninja costume, no matter how silly it is for their story. Ninjas RULE!

Too much of a good thing is bad. Bring some back not all. All would water down the story line and many would end up unimportant.

i say, subzero and skorpion plus human-smoke! and then a new ninja that is a hidden character. that should please everyone who doesn't like the storyline of most ninjas but still like them. bekuz hidden character's storylines aren't really relevant rite? look at mokap.

I'm only rooting for Scorpion, Reptile, Cyrax, and Sektor.

oh yeah, i think reptile should have a hidden alternate costume that is ninja!

let's not 4get that Noob Saibot is a hidden character in mkTE. so that means he will probably be in mk6.

I think anyone who has played MK since the beginning will know that the series has really been about the ninjas right along with the blood and the storyline. Whats everyone's problem with palette swap anyways, its not a bad thing. I know everyone looks the same, but I still know they are their own characters, and I think the ninja fans realize this too. They dont all have to have unique appearances to have unique characteristics. Anyways thats my 2 cents.

Come on now, I can't believe you guys aren't tired of seeing the same freakin costume on everyone. Logically, it doesn't make any sense at all. The only 3 people that have any reason to wear that uniform at all are Sub Zero, Smoke and Scorpion. I seriously doubt Smoke would WANT to continue wearing the Lin Kuei uniform after what happened to him, and Scorpion really has no reason to wear it anymore now that his fight with Sub Zero is over. I like Smokes story, but why the hell does everyone want him to come back as human? Why do people think he was so cool? He was a grey scorpion with LESS moves. Nothing of his own at all. You're telling me he was an awesome character because he was grey????

That's just stupid. And don't say it's his story that you like because everyone wants him to come back as a human and in that stupid ass costume, which wouldn't make sense at all since he's a cyborg now. Maybe a cyborg Smoke with parts of his armor missing would be ok, and a ninja type costume. BUT NOT a Lin Kuei uniform. A different type of ninja costume. That would be ok.

Are you guys kidding me? Ninjas? Characters that all look the same? HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't you guys want originality in character design, fighting techniques, special moves, and weapons?

One of the main reasons why UMK3 was arguably the weakest of the series was because half of the characters looked and fought exactly the same. Say what you want about the amount of secrets and extras in MK5, but at the very least the character design was fantastic (although Hsu Hao and Bo Rai Cho were lame).

NO CLONES! Each characters should be an individual. End of story.

i think midway has the graphix now that new ninjas in the game WONT be just pallette swaps, they'll all be unique. and i agree that nothing is wrong with pallette swaps, nothing is wrong with mk in any way, its immaculate to me!! i loved the clones in umk3.

People are still posting the same, illogical reasons to bring back these 'ninjas' as you all seem to like to refer to them as despite my comment. Give it a rest already! Sure the majority of fans want to see all these ninjas back, the majority of idiots is more like it. How different can you make 'ninjas'? Not very much, which is why only Sub-Zero and Scorpion appeared in these types of uniforms in MKDA. For those of you who want 'human reptile' back, you can forget about that. Just think about when you say this, 'human reptile'. Thats contridicting itself as a phrase. Reptile is fine the way he is, and their is no reason for him to go back. And like has been said, its time to face the facts, Smoke is no longer human. He is a cyborg, and there is nothing that can change that fact. MK has advanced passed all of this nonsense, and its time some of you follow the game instead of living in the past.

Cyrax is still a cyborg.... or do you have giant metal blades shoot out of your chest as well? Hmm...

I think the more characters they stick in the next game the better the game will be, diversifying them will obviously help diffrent moves and techniques would be nice. But I think that more of everything would make a greater game more characters more stages more fatalities more blood more gore more secrets and above all else make it a bit more realistic.
