Eventually they will fade out. SubZero will become a Master and Teacher and Scorpion will finally be at peace and be able to pass over to the afterlife. IMO of course. I think that is why we have received the mega makovers of other Ninja's lately to maybe become the front runners and major players. I see Raiden fading out as well.

Can Sub and Scorp be replaced? Let me put it this way, no.

LOL
Ed Boon said the only 2 characters that will always be in MK is Sub and Scorp. They're the 2 best characters. Get off their nuts

Is that so? Well, maybe you need to take a look at her special moves list more carefully, because the only special move of hers that Sub-Zero had sometime ago was the Slide. Yes, Sub-Zero also had the Ground Freeze, but the way Frost's Ground Freeze works is her own unique move and works differently from Sub-Zero's. Frost didn't have the Ice Rain or the Ice Clone or any of Sub-Zero's other moves, so in other words, your statement was inaccurate. Btw, Frost can never replace Sub-Zero. I like Frost, but she lacks the strength and discipline to be Grandmaster.
Ugh... that wasn't meant to be taken literally. *rolls eyes* What I was trying to say was that they both have freeze attacks. In other words... my statement wasn't inaccurate, I just wasn't being a Mortal Kombat uber-freak when I wrote it. I mean, I like Mortal Kombat, but who cares that Frost uses a different kind of freeze attack? In the end, the opponents are still frozen.
And like I said, I like Sub-Zero... but he's getting old. Time for some fresh blood.

No, your statement was inaccurate. It's your fault for not putting it in more accurate words. So what if Sub-Zero is getting old? He may be an old man, but he's getting more powerful and from the way he is in MK: D, he actually looks younger. That may be just me, but it seems that way. Sub-Zero may be Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, but there's still much to his storyline.

My only 'fault' was not considering how many obsessed Mortal Kombat fans are here who take everything you say way too seriously. Like I said... it's not meant to be taken literally, it was just a comparison.
