ugh, listen to me

2 "real" secret characters and then 1 bonus one thats just as cool as mokap(very fast,cool moves, no real story)

and why does mokap suck? no one has given me a good reason yet

I'll give you three:

1) stupid story that doesn't even fit into the mk universe. He was pointless...
2) he looked retarded
3) he had fighting styles that were already used by other characters. So completely unoriginal in that respect.


I know exacly what your saying 2 "real" as you put it secret characters and then a third thats a member of the mk team. I would rather have that 1 slot be a past mk favorite or a new character then have it be some mk team member wearing god knows what... a clown costume? With a pointless story, fighting against the other MK characters.

You say mokap is fast? He has Sonya's Tae Kwon Do that's the only real thing thats fast about him. I didn't think any of his moves were good. A regular fireball, some lame diving type punch...etc. It's just my opinion I don't like the idea.

he has 3, 1 from different characters. the 3 fighting styles work very well together and u get to pull off some sweet combos

he's quite possibly the best fighter in the game, right up there with drahmin and scorpion

Again, it's not that he sucks...just timing was horrible...we waited forever for this game, and he was the secret character...it just wasn't a smart move...if they were coming out more often, then fine, but this was the first MK in ages, and we wanted better secrets...that's all..it's not that he outright sucks, he's not great, but he just shouldn't have been in yet imo..

More characters is always good but i don't think i'd get a lot of extra fun from playing as `ordinary` people, unless thay were me/people i know using digimask create a fighter or something. I think it's fine for the makers to give the character's their facial likenesses, as it's kind of like an in joke that `true` fans can feel smug about (like noob saibot).

Mokap wasn't a great character but i suppose he is another option in that his combination of styles was unique, and putting him only really required making another character model- i just wish they'd made it that you could give him any three of the available styles, or better still, use any of the characters with any of the styles- that would have been a great final secret.

Actually, that's a pretty cool idea, Mister Satan.
I do think it would be pretty funny if we could play as Ed Boon, John Vogel, etc. Even if they were just skins for other characters.

No no no no he definitley isn't Drahmin maybe, Scorpion is either the best or second best. But it seems that you are the only one who likes and uses and thinks Mokap is cool.

i do my best work with mokap and drahmin, not to say that my brother cant play well against me while he uses cage and mavado

I'm just saying that Mokap would be better if he had his own fighting styles, and a Fatality. I know lack of time prevented this.

I knew you would say that he was "just for fun." You may have found him fun but I didn't find him to be enjoyable at all. I thought he looked stupid and played even worse.

You think that Mokap looking retarded is irrelevant? Well perhaps stupid looking characters don’t bother you but I like the characters to look cool. I hardly ever use a character that looks stupid and has boring moves even if he is effective. Mokap isn’t up there with Scorpion or Drahmin on the tier list so he isn’t that great of a character. I’m not the only one that believes that. The MKDA section has a tier listing and from experience I can say it's pretty accurate.

If they added an mk team member to MK6...great... would I play that character...probably not, but hey that's just me. It seems that some people like the idea.

They could just have the developers faces for the characters.

Like Ed I think would look good as Mavado.

If Mokap comes back for MK6. I would like for him to be like Shinnok or unknown from Tekken Tag.

Mokap is a good fighter.

Personaly i rather have a classic character that is well developed but mk team didnt have time.

ok, so we established that mokap is good.
with that said, lets get back to the topic at hand.

which MK team member would u like as a bonus character? and what would u want them to be like? streat clothes? funny costume?

i wasnt that dissapointed with mokap cause I didnt think of him as being a real character.
Hes more like "congrats, u finished konquest mode, now we'll give you carlos pesina a bit of a funny joke character, to have fun with for a while"
You shouldnt get your hopes up about REAL secret charatcers, cause u never now what to expect.
I didnt and now Im happy with mokap and blaze. grin

u could have Ed Boon as a playable character and whenever he does his fatality on someone that person turns into john tobias and the drops an arcade machine on him.lol

seriously though, Mokap was a very good character imo... if i had my choice for another one of the MK staff in MK6, i would go with either Vogul or Boon...

like i said in another post where the MK team was stressed for time, if they had of put in another character in place of Mokap, a LOT more people would be bitching and complaining because of lack of moves on a classic fighter!!! sorry for goin off topic for that one MS...

the mk team has whored themselves out in every mk. i have no problem with them being in the backround or whatever. but putting themselves as characters is pretty cheesy.

Be neat to knock the little motion capture balls off of Mokap.
Or have a special move/Morph so that only the balls are visible. Be kind of awkward to fight.
