The topic is characters that everyone would not want back in this Deception game.
For me they are as follows:
Lui Kang-he should stay dead.
Reptile-not since Mk 2 has he been good to use.
(IF he is in fact the Dragon King, I hope he has different moves then the stupid roll and acid spit)
Jax-I am sorry, but he was boring to use.
Hso Hau-He was just plain as far as characters go.
That is my list.

When possible, use more descriptive statements in thread subjects. ~Crow~

probably Reptile will still have the acid spit since thats his own move, like scorpion with his spear,.

I wish that:

Shao Kahn
Striker
and Jade

would return

No offense, but I don't know what you're smoking. Reptile has statistically been proven through constant game tournaments to be the worst fighter in Mortal Kombat 2. In UMK3, and MK4 he was mid-tier, and in MK5 he was top tier. So the exact opposite of what you said is true; is it maybe that you hate his reptilian look? Because he's actually been a lot better fighter since he's had that look.

Reptile should not return unless he looks and moves like in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. He was unstoppable in Trilogy. with the fast and slow force ball.
I do not want Quan Chi to return from his grave. And definitly not Hsu Hao, I never picked him to fight as. I just did not like his fighting styles especially Wrestling.
But If Kung Lao returns it should be the real Kung Lao and not the decendent.

I have nothing against drinking beer in Texas, but Kabal's death was just a myth concerning how Mavado got his hookswords. Konquest mode referred to is as a rumor.

But I think it would be hella badass if Kabal was from Texas. He does seem to have a Texas flair to him. Most of you would probably think that's the worst idea ever, but oh well. grin

Rain (has little to no purpose in current storyline)

Human Smoke (gone, dead, just a memory)

Liu Kang (he's the Ryu of MK, but that doesn't mean that he should come back to life)

Reiko (filler for Noob Saibot fans/Shao Khan conspiracy theorists)

Li Mei (she's already in it, but her story sucked imo)

Stryker (see Rain, above)

Jade (again, see Rain, above)

Sheevah (dead and loving it)

Jarek (pathetic Kano clone)

Tanya (see Li Mei, above)

Robo Smoke (they already gave his future storyline to Cyrax, so what's the point?)

Shinnok (stupid Shang Tsung clone w/o morphing that's 'dead', now)

Shao Khan (dude, you've been in, like, 4 different games, already. Give it a rest)

Any of the past midbosses (Goro was the only decent one out the bunch, and he's dead, now)

Chameleon (the male one in the PSX version of MKT, no point to him whatsoever)

Shang Tsung (enough with the 'please don't kill me, Master Khan' shtick)

Raiden (at least, not as a playable character. take a load off, let Mr. Fujin take care of it)

Any more filler ninjas (dude, this ain't a gay pride convention. Enough with the rainbow-colored stealth assassins with funky names)

Johnny Cage (either get a better plotline, or stay dead)

'Clone' characters (do NOT bring in female Scorpion or the like)

Pointless secret characters (Mokap? Just what were they thinking?)

I am fine with all of the characters. I used to dislike Li Mei, but now it looks like her story has improved due to her new costume. I think she turned evil for some reason.

I also disliked Bo Rai Cho, but after watching his ending I learned to respect this character. I think Bo Rai Cho is going to be awsome judging from his flame fatality.

Reiko- Wanna pretend him and the arguments that followed never happened.
Liu Kang- Works better dead. Let guys like Kung Lao and Sub Zero develop as heroes.
Mokap- Goes without saying.
Shinnok- Worst bad guy ever.
Motaro- Big, nearly immobile combo target.
Cyrax- Sorry. Never liked him.
Rain- A pallete swap too far.

I didnt like Bo Rai Cho since MKDA came out. His moves sucked. His fighting styles were ok but i didnt get the whole drunken fist. Its a fighting style but he not really suppose to get drunk and punk all over.

i totally agree with you, except that I want raiden to continue, and I'm willing to give Li Mei another chance, and I love Kung Lao (the descendant). On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of Bo Rai Cho, Mavado, Kai and Hsu Hao...kill them

I'm not saying that Raiden couldn't be in the game, just not as a playable character. He's been in the spotlight for way too many games. Put him in the background for a sequel or two, maybe guiding Earth's warriors behind the scenes, and let other characters, like Fujin, have their moment to really shine.

I had completely forgotten about Mavado, Kai, and Hsu Hao. Although Mavado's story seems to take an important part in the overall plotline, all of them just suck ass and need to be killed off.

Bo'Rai Cho, on the other hand, should stay. He's a unique and unconventional addition to the MK franchise, and he plays a very intergral role in future MK games, methinks. Now, mind you, I haven't played MK: DA, so I dunno how he plays or acts onscreen, but from what I've heard, Midway would do well to refine his fighting styles slightly and cut away most of his crude attacks and 'bodily functions'. Yeah, he's fat and drunk, but he's a sage warrior and trainer, and an important part to the current storyline. Not all Kombatants should look like they just came off the set of Baywatch: It's good to see an unexpected fighter in this game.

Raiden - I agree he shouldn't be a playable character but should definately still be involved. I also agree to let Fujin have his shine.

Johnny Cage - Enough is enough, let his "dead" soul rest.

Kano - I've liked his story so far. He's basically been the most durable character so far considering all the many situations he's been in. Sonya, Jax, Kahn, Tsung and Quan Chi, Mavado and Hsu Hao are all out to get him...but with all these people after him it's about time to kill him off and let everybody after him have a new direction.

Liu Kang - It's about time that the MK guys stick to something and quit bringing back people from the dead.

Reptile - Not as a playable character. I've NEVER been a Reptile fan but he definately needs to be involved with this Dragon King thing.

Jax - He's run his course. His last feud was with the most uneventful character in DA being Hsu Hao.

Goro - see Liu Kang

Sheeva - Not really that important of a character.

Motaro - see Goro

Meat, Mokap, Drahmin, Moloch, Bo' Rai Cho - I thought all of these were stupid creations

I kinda agree, but they way they made him fart and puke is just to repugnant...that's what I hate on him. I fhe desn't fart or puke in mkD I'll get to like him, eventualy...

The five worst Mortal Kombat characters ever:

01.Reiko- They put the Green lantern's head on Ermac/Rain's body. Great.
02.Jarek- What the fuck is he? Kano lite? There was no reason for Jarek to ever be introduced into the series.
03.Cyrax- Not only was he Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance's weakest character, he also had a stupid plot. He's a c-3PO wannabe buddy character now. He's ruined.
04.Mokap- I didn't find him that offensive, because he was non-essential to the plot, but he was still a shitty character.
05.Stryker- Stryker has a lot of potential to be a bad ass, but right now, all we've seen is Stryker, fat donut eating rent-a-cop.
