This screen is awesome and the costumes are fine. That is Meat. It is real not PSed, it's just not at its final stage. Some ppl complain too much. As for C/Kamilleon, i dont give a rat's ass, but wont be suprised if its them due to Cinder's hints. Let's just be happy that all characters are there, including Meat, who by the way looks kick ass with the eye hanging out, and be excited for the game to come out. After all, isn't that what this forum is about?

I HATED the rotating screen, and Motaro looks fine to me.

You know Meat kinda looks like the MKDA version of Blaze. Maybe theyre gonna reuse the 3D Blaze sprite and make him all red and bloody for Meat... ? So like instead of leaving a trail of orange lava goo like Blaze did he'll leave a trail of blood instead...

I like the fact Meat doesn't look like a mentally challenged bloody skeleton anymore. Hate the fact Mokaphisass is still there. Like the hope that it's K/Chameleon in the question mark boxes. But I hope the characters aren't grouped like that. It makes it look like the FBI's most wanted or some stupid shit.

thers no way they will put chameleon in it.....i mean he is a character hardly known of and it might be just a simple teaser

but it would be cool to fight as him in a never stoping color changing uniform.

As a graphic designer, I must say this is an awesome character selection screen. I like the groupings AND the background. I like the way the colors of the backgrounds slowly progress as the rows descend.

The screen is also very organized, with the characters placed in a logical order for easy finding, being that there's so many characters.

Having the Chameleons in the game is a good idea, too, for the sake of completion. There's shouldn't be any complaints about having them in the game because they "don't have a story." Might I remind you that Reptile, Meat, Noob Saibot, nor Jade had stories when they first appeared?

This game is going to kick it, and you all know it.

Have you been thinking why Raiden, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi are still alive after Onaga killed them? Well, Raiden is immortal so he can't die. Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are alive thanks to Shinnok. But Quan and Shang are zombies now. If you look precisely, you see Quan having a scar on his cheek, Shang's pupils are white now and Shang has a bruise on his eye. Quan Chi, Liu Kang and Shang Tsung are all zombies now. Quan and Shang killed Liu but its avenged now. Hahahah.

Did you not read what was said in this thread? Shang and Quan are cut and bruised because those pictures were taken from an old render. On that old render, Midway was showing off the facial damage that was put in MKDA.

They aren't zombies.

Notes:
Just about confirms, if not totally, that Reptiles main outfit will be his popular MK:SM look.

Confirms that Noob and Smoke are (thankfully) seperate charaters.

Daegon is a playable character in Kombat mode, which I don't believe was talked about much as many assumed he was just going to be a main NPC in Konquest mode.

Looks like they are keen for Liu Kang to remain a Zombie.

Shang Tsung and Quan Chi do appear to be scared from battle

Light Raiden appears on this select screen and the wallpaper on the official site, yet E3 trailer shows Dark Raiden being held by Shinnoks, Skeleton hands attack. So nothing is still confirmed on if Raiden costumes altinate between Light and Dark, although at this point, its a good assumtion that that will be the case.

First time we have seen Motaro. Face is looking good. Looking forward to seeing the rest of him.

First time we have seen Meat. Confirms that he is a playable character. Nice touch with the left eye hanging out the socket!

Blaze is indeed a playable character. Mega (Boss) Blaze is shown on this character screen, yet talk is still flying around of 2 versions of Blaze playable. One normal from MK:DA/Unchained and Mega version.

No Human Smoke?

Well I guess we can't have every character return.

Yes everyone is playable!, Human smoke is OVER, now there is cyborg smoke ( this isn't MKT 2, where all chars ( icluding elder sub zero and human smoke) appear.... now Smoke is a cyorg, and he can't do shit now.

Reiko and Kahn are differen!, Reiko wants to kill Kahn so as to steal his power, and be the new ruler of outworld ( if you played MK: D konquest you eill know what i am talking about )

I will say that, from what I see on this select-screen (though not knowing if it's a full representation of what the final product will be), I'm a tad dissapointed.

The layout seems fine, and it doesn't bother me that they're grouped in categories. The BG is a tad bland, but what are ya gonna do?

The character renders they picked though, are kinda off to me. Why use Sub-Zero's costume from Deadly Alliance as a primary, when his Deception one was so much more detailed and visually more kick-ass? (not to mention updated) Why does Kintaro look like a anthropomorphic tiger? (I know he had stripes in MK2, but he still looked Shokan) I will agree that alot does look rehashed, but so did the original Trilogy. (though I guess we've been spoiled with almost all characters getting facelifts with the past 3 games)

Storyline-wise.....I'd say don't expect much of anything more until the next-gen MK games come out. Maybe a few new tidbits of info for returning characters, but not much more than that I'd wager.

However, there's also a good 3 months until the game is released. Alot can happen and be changed within those 3 months. For now I sit, wait, and hope for the best.

Yes,of course it wasnt the real one.

All of the Characters pictures are from Renders,because theyre not finished making the new Renders for the Select Screen,thats why theyre using MKDA Shang and Chi renders where thye're beat up.

The ?'s are supposed to be C/Khameleon.

So that confirms Reppy will have the MKSM look,because Khameleon being there will make him go back to being almost human.
