To further emphasize Midway's strong resurgence in the gaming industry, CNN/fn has interviewed Ed Boon, creator of the Mortal Kombat series. The interview covers a broad range of topics, from the history of Mortal Kombat's violence to the impact that Mortal Kombat: Deception is making for Midway Games.

I noticed that, as they were talking about how violent it was, the clips they were playing contained no blood/gore/etc.

They actually did a good job with the interview, one would expect the news to rip it apart for the old violence story but they didn't.

By the way, Boon is NOT the creator of MK. He is the CO-CREATOR. John Tobias created the MK world , it's characters and their stories. Boon created the glitchy gameplay.

I also miss John Tobias.

Anyway, about the interview, I thought it was awesome to see a woman being the reporter instead of a guy for some reason.

I was expecting some mk male bashing dude, but it was cool to see this woman talking about Mk as if she was a true fan.

I also liked how she saw the relations between chess kombat and Harry Potters chess.

It was cool.

I heard the last game Tobias game really sucked, Tao Feng. Though I know Tobias is a good story writer and all, I thought the story for Tae Feng sucked. The characters also looked weird.
