Way I see it, they just grabbed one, most likely because it was the most recent. Didn't one of the earlier trailers use Liu Kang's Shaolin Monks render? One of the loading screens still shows him as a zombie. Either that or with the grouping of characters for it, they just needed to throw something up there to even out the ninja characters and just grabbed a render/model from Shaolin Monks for that purpose.

Either way, that screen just screams placeholder. From the use of Reptile's Shaolin Monks look to the fact it looks like they just grabbed the select boxes from Deception for the characters that were in that game. It just looks like they cobbled something together real fast to show that yes, there are a lot of characters in this game.

Obviously they just "copy and paste" renders. I think they did that just to show how the final select screen will look like.
Why would they release it to reveal all the characters if they already released renders of all of the together? It wouldn't make sense for them to do that again.

Im kinda pissed because the select screen still leaves me to believe that you will only be able to have 1 KAK, which to me is a fucking complete waste. Why have all kinds of options , clothes, moves, 2 different genders, and then make 1 kak. Granted you could make 1 per profile, but that rules out playing Arcade with your kak vs. another one of your kak on one memory card. Bullshit, it stinks and I hate it.

I'm not sure I fully understand your gripe. I don't like the 1 KaK per profile thing either, but that's just because it's annoyingly inconvieniant. I don't understand your points at all.

If you mean two KaKs can't be played against each other in versus mode, why not? You could load 2 profiles from the same memory card in versus mode in the previous two games, why should this one be any different?

If you mean a KaK can't be played in Arcade mode, sure they can? Why wouldn't they be? You pick them, and they go.

If you mean 1 KaK can't fight a tower of other KaKs in Arcade mode, what in the heck would make you think that would have been possible either way? That would be a fairly dumb idea, seeing as everyone could just make 15 weak characters to whoop on real fast to beat the game and unlock things. Not to mention, what point would it serve? So you fight them in versus, or you fight them in arcade. It's not like it would make a lick of differance to any "story." Why would this feature have ever been implemented? You can't fight an entire roster of created characters in season mode on WWE games can you?

Just to make it simple.

A. 10 KAK ( 10 profiles per card ) isnt enough. If you can only make 1 KAK, its only because Boon doesnt want to make a submenu on the KAK slot, not because of lack of disc space or technical limitations.

B. I dont play MK online or with other people, I just play the CPU. If I cant fight my Kak vs. another Kak in Arcade, then how can I play them ?? Im not sure if Vs. Mode has a Vs. CPU option, and if it does, how do you load a second profile for the CPU ??

C. If KAK mode has a section to write a bio for your KAK, then it should be relevant to the story, I.E. make a text ending ect ect.

D. In Smackdown, you have the option to put any or all of your CAC into the season mode. I dont need to fight every single CAC in arcade, it would just be nice to see them randomly thrown in like in Smackdown.

And btw ... who the fuck is going to make 15 weak characters just to blast through arcade mode. Isnt that the point of 1 round fights on very easy ??

All I was saying is I didn't understand what your complaint was. (I'll note, I clearly said that I didn't like the 1 KaK per profile idea either) I thank you for clarifying, but yeesh, touchy much?


And PS. I honestly didn't know CaCs could be used in season modes in any WWE games. That's why that part was a question, not a stetement.

um i have only seen the pic really small but that red guy down in the bottom left you people cant make out is well, my guess, MOTARO! well, he's no where else on there, and he was a sub-boss (aka, he's in the sub-boss/boss line)... yeh... well im glad noob and smoke are seperate, i like the new select screen, and i HOPE thats reptiles costume and that that is daegon...

um... well we dont know who everyone is (the red guy and were guessing that utha guys daegon...heh, funny name) and the questions marks are most probably random select, like they were at E3 on the other select screen, but i could be wrong! they could be secret chars or something...

If you count the second Noob Saibot, the two question marks and the red box in the bottom left corner could be for Chameleon, Khameleon, Meat and Random.

I am personally hoping that the MK Trilogy Noob Saibot will be taken by human Smoke and the two question marks used for Khameleon and Chameleon. Then the red box in the bottom corner could be KAK. Hmm...

The first one is a KAK slot it looks like the one from the E3 build.
