I'm not sure if this has been discussed already, but has it been confirmed that MK6 will use the same consoles as MKDA (xbox, ps2, gamecube)? I hope it will be, because I'm not a huge gaming fan except for the MK series, and the only reason I got an xbox was because my dad got it for me for free through a promotinal offer from his business. So I don't wanna have to spend two or three hundred bucks on a system I'll only use to play the new MK and maybe a couple other games.

It's not confirmed yet but I'm pretty sure that it will be multi consoles, I wouldn't worry about it. Besides they've already talked about using system capabilities.

Even if it was on one system, my guess would it would be XBOX probably because of the sheer power of the system compared to the other two. So, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

It will be released on currect generation platforms. And if it was to be released on a single platform it would be on PS2 simply because that was the platform that MK:DA sold best on, in fact I believe XBOX had the lowest sales for MK:DA.

Dont count on the ps3 comming out anytime soon for the release of MKDA. So I would count it being on the 3 systems, GC, Xbox, and Ps2. So thats the way I see it.

The game is going to be released sometime next year for all 3. Xbox, gamecube and ps2. Where are you people getting this ps3 crap? Anyway, they also said that they wouldn't make the games identical this time. They would take advantage of each consoles hardware.

PS2 is a mainstream game console thats why it sold more than xbox.plus alot of people go down on xbox but some of them who go down on xbox have never took the time to play it.but MK6 will mostly likely be on xbox,PS2,gamecube,gameboy advance.there is talks of new consoles coming out in 2005 the only consoles i heard about were PS3 and xbox 2 i even heard of a PS44 but that turned out to be a rumor.

I don't see why it wouldn't be on all three consoles. It's coming out next year and no new systems will be out next year. Even though the Gamecube version of MKDA probably only sold 200,000 worldwide, that's not freakin' bad at all. Midway realizes that. If it was just for one console, it'd probably only hit a million like the other PS2 fighters. 2 million > 1 million no matter how you slice it.
