@ Malheur:
Wow, once again great games. Most games were so close, it really could have gone either way. Especially those Scorp vs Sub matches were extremely intense and really fun. I see your Jade knows how to deal with my Shu now, but Tanya is still a pain in the ass isn't she??
I truly hope Tgrant could NOT help you out much regarding this invisibility-thing you have. Hehe, you have to admit, your days of owning me have gone.......

PS: sorry wegen Dairou, aber dass du jetzt BO nehmen wolltest fand ich doch ein weng übertrieben. So schlimm war es doch nicht oder

Looking at the picture on Fabioo's profile and then reading that Cage is going to be his man is kinda funny.
That's like me saying CYRAX is going to be my first player.

Still doesn't change the fact that in high level play (not that you're not high level) there is no reason to use Fan Zi, Kriss, Moi Fah (not in combos) Sun Bin, Drunken Fist etc.......
Why will I use Fan Zi? (not inculiding chain combos) for d+4? d+3 in Kou Sho is better, for 4? b+1 in Kou Sho is better, this style has nothing......
And besides, I prefer each style to have more moves than styles that have like 15 moves........
Raiden Staff alone has no mids, no reason to use it.

I use Moi Fah with Scorpion because I find it much easier to use than his other styles. I prefer it and can do pretty well with it.
Fan Zi can be used for style change pokes and surprise hits. 3 is good in that respect. You will above all use it for her high damage combos or there's no point in using her at all. This doesn't mean you have to start in Fan Zi either.
Kriss has excellent mids and free throw opportunities from singe hits. You have seen me use most of these. They are especially great with AR.
Sun Bin and Druken Fist are more filler stances but are great for mix ups and surprise hits. You won't spend all of your time in this stances, but they are there for something new that the oppoennt won't expect. This can be an advantage.
And Raidens staff has several uses. Set up for a plant into ftree throw, surprise lows, buffered teleports (that have no delay) and to make the opponent block low whilst you then own then with F+1..... There's alot that style is useful for. I should use it more.
Malheur, still waiting for that PM. And good games last night.

I'm with Tgrant on this. I think most of the styles are pretty usefull. Personally, there's not one style I don't use with all my characters. And I would say full utlization of all three styles is probably the best way to launch surprise attacks.

I can only agree to what u already mentioned! Great games and again really close! I cannot believe u got that strong to be honest, hehe
Achja, und wegen Dairou: Prinzipiell habe ich nichts gegen ihn, aber in diesem Moment haste das Fass einfach nur zum Überkochen gebracht
Oh and as for ur Tanya-bitch: Tgrant is gonna help me out very soon with it so u better be prepared, bwuahah

I often switch to the third stance in the third round, so I won't be too predictable, it is as Tgrant said, more moves = more surprise attacks.
Shuinko has a lot of special moves, so I only use the autoevade hit from Mantis. The rest just makes the combos stronger.
If they balance out some moves maybe I will try to use all moves of that stance in Combat.
My Characters for MK:A would be: (just how they look)
Ermac
Chameleon
Quan Chi
Sector
Sheeva
Kintaro
There is a full roster at the Wikipedia, see:

Yeah! Great series last night man! We had some great fun.
Consistency is my main problem. It's almost as though I turn off my powers and turn it back on almost at will (sometimes anyway). Your Ermac was pain in the butt! I wasn't adapting too well and paid for my naivity. I also like your Havic. You launch good surprise attacks.
@Tgrant: Damn I started so well then you totally owned me!
>>>>>Actually, I hate the way you abuse the corner throw and punch, especially with Tanya. Take that out of her game and girl ain't got much going. I will find a way around it though. You can bet your ass on that, KillerinWhite! DAMN FORSAKEN DEMON!
Anyway y'all! I'm out till September, which is errrrr.... tomorrow.

We're talking about different stuff.
I'm talking about styles as they are, not how they work for X character combining throws special moves etc....
If you're playing to win like our sevral series we had lately why in hell will I use Drunken Fist when I have Jujustso?
I see Fan Zi, I duck......
Kriss without Ashrah's broken and overpowerd throw is crap.
I love to see how I spread the Tanya love here, so many people use her, so many glitches......... But, never forget who is the only one, the bitch master, the glitch lover, ME, HJS.

No one says you have to use Drunken Fist. It's just another option. Someof us get bored of using the same styles, attacks and characters ovr and over. You know I'm bored when I start picking Scorpion, Li Mei, Sub-Zero or Kenshi for example. Thse are characters I'm not good with. Or I'll stay in a particular style with a character, like Leopard with Darrius.
Given Fan Zi is just like Staff, you duck, I CS and mid. Mind games, my good friend.
Kriss is very effective. No one uses it enough, though I have in the past.
