My aggressiveness is something I've worked on lately. I had worked with blocking critical combos (Hence the title, blocking machine) but realised blocking can only win you so many games. So, I learned to be more agressive. I usually don't start my move at the word 'FIGHT' because you can easily get caught out with a parry so I take 1 sec delay and start the assault.

HJS is good at calculating my assaults and he knows my one main weakness (I won't say it here but he knows it and he gets my all the time). Let's just hope DP fails to adapt to my style tonight, however, I'm pretty ok at re-adapting to different styles myself. See you tonight!

@Trax, sorry bro, but I don't know what it is, but all british ppl can do über-safe moves on me. It is very difficult to even land a hit on you. projectiles go through you even when you don't sidestep them. You can jump over me after every attack you do... it's pretty annoying.

I don't know what to say about the problem you're having with UK based players. One can have problem regardless of which country the opponent resides. I think Monk lives in Belgium and Kong lives in Holland just to name a few.

I play HJS who has some lag but I don't think it has any bearing on the outcome of our series. I guess the key is to keep adapting to challenges we face in the arena and that includes lags.

last night i play with hjs and the problem is when i fight with him the game lags so hard, its not his fault but the lag is a big handycap for me, the half of time my combos didint no damage to him. and last night we play 3 rounds 2-1 for him and i go to no and he tells me a scrub lol. trax the lag is a big problem, when u hit your opponent and is no damage is very sux man. bomber

I understand where you're coming from, Borlin. However, I have to say the lag issue on MKA is actually no issue compared to DOA 4. And while lag is a problem I still think it has little impact on most (not all) series.

I also play on XBOX and you can't begin to imagine how crazy the lag is on it. However, I can hardly blame lag for the series I've lost. I really don't think it's that bad in Europe. But then again, I may be wrong.

Trax, I think you're wrong here bro. It may not influence the final outcome of who wins the complete series, but still I feel I lost a few matches yesterday because of the lag. Ofcourse you're good, but losing 13-5 or something is not a proper display of my skills. Sure, we have to adapt, but I mostly play ppl from holland, belgium or germany, and then I don't have that much lag with them. With you, projectiles sometimes simply don't hit you although they should, but they go right through you! also, you can do a single attack, jump over me, do a new attack and jump away, you have no recovery time. It's like Noob spamming (2), 4, it's only possible with lag. I can't do shit about it, because you always hit me first, because I've some small delay. I've tested it with ppl living here, and they can't do that!
So sure, I should adapt, that's what all good players should do, and believe me, I do adapt a lot, hell, I rarely lose a series, but believe me it is annoying......

Maybe I should throw my anger overboard, and play you more, much more. Mabe eventually I get used to it.

I don't think I'm able to understand the level of fraustration you guys feel about the lag thing. I get it too but I try not to pay too much attention to it but I do admit it can be difficult. It makes timing of assault even more critical during gameplay.

About projectiles; How can we be sure that projectiles thrown are not being evaded by simply side stepping? I've seen a lotta peeps do it. Monk is a number side-stepper so unless the projectile is timed with precision it's almost impossible for me to hit him with one. So I pretty much doubt that's due to lag.

I got the same problem with you when playing certain characters. I still don't like the jumping in MKA, I have to pick characters that have Air-hitting specials to avoid having stupid jump matches with my opponents. You did, LOL. But I was scared before the Game.
Moloch lacks a good Mid. Thats why I was ducking all the time. And thats why I use his Pokes when I play him.
And forgive me for noobing with Sareena, I just wanted to show you how nasty those throwing knives are - even for a character with a good teleport! See it as "returning the favor"
