Reiko will be in MK:D at least in Konquest as all the characters ever made are gonna be there, so he'll eb there, i really liked him, but he needs ro be revamped if he's coming back in naytime. Cheers

I liked Reiko. He was a mysterious character and they can really take his story anywhere they want to. He can be Shao Khan, or his brother or anything!! It would be REAAALLY cool if they brought him back for MKD.

Since this thread is okay I might add I liked him as a fighter, but as a character he sucked. I liked his moves and the links that could be made between them. His teleports were very handy.

as far as his story and character design go, hes pretty unspired. But as far as playability went, he was easily one of the deadliest chars in MK4, by far my favorite one to play. I'd like to see him back.

i wouldn't mind seeing him return... there are few people i would hate to see return so let him come back... if not well that's ok too.... but he was decent.. nothign special but decent... just needs a lil more work....

I did like him, after Quan Chi he was my favorite MK4 character, he was really underrated IMO. He had cool and original moves and a catchy look(even do he look a bit like Robin in the batman movie)

It make me laugh to look how some people like Rain and doesn't like Reiko, at least Reiko is not another generic ninja.

It would be cool if he was after Quan Chi and Shang tsung for killing Shao Khan, then he would be like a good guy but still be on the bad side.

Wasn't he also a general in Shinnok's army? Boon and Co could have also gave him a new job as a leader of the Dragon King's Army.

I liked Reiko. He was one of my best in MK4 and I thought he had good moves and fatalities. Also thought he was a cool character.
However, IMO, I think it would be best if they ignored the whole "is he/isn't he Shao Kahn" as much as possible. Reiko should not be related to Shao Kahn in any way. The whole Shao Kahn bullshit really ruined a lot of his potential.

I remember, back before MK4 came out in the arcade, I read in a preview that suggested Reiko was going to have some sort of connection to Sareena. I liked this because I thought since Sareena was supposedly killed by Shinnok, Reiko would provide some closure to that. Sadly that never happened, but I still think they should do something involving that.
IMO, I think Reiko has more interesting potential doing something with Sareena than Shao Kahn.

He was fun to play as, but lacked a story and originality. I don't like him but if they want to bring him back, he needs major improvements in the story, looks and moves departments.

I really didn't like Reiko at all. I think what needs to happen is that Shao Kahn is shown in Konquest killing Reiko off. That way, there'll be an end to the Kahn/Reiko crap, and the MK team get rid of a character they don't really like.

Reiko was a last minute replacement for Noob Saibot, because they decided Noob should still be that secret character that he's known for. Reiko was a rush job with a half-assed story and half-assed design. One staff member even quoted "Reiko was a lame character which everyone should forget about." Reiko is THE most underdeveloped character in MK history. Lemme go look some stuff up on him, and I'll post it here.
