The topic confirms dlc they didn't say how many characters we would be getting. I gave them a list of 28 characters fans voted it down to 10 and I asked them could I do a poll the admin had to check with midway because I couldn't if they weren't considering dlc. Cinder said okay she works for midway. Made the poll and Shelya caught 8 fake accounts that voted for mm. So this is pretty offical the admins wouldn't stickered it if it wasn't aproved by midway. Also this is the first time they have said they would ban user who create many accounts to vote more than once. Which means this poll is a big deal. I believe we will most likely get 4 per side.

So FOUR MK and FOUR dc? I guess that'll be ok. MKVSDCU2 better have a better cast if they ever do it. I hope and pray you're right about the eight character thing.

Exactly. And I want some of the newer characters like Tanya ect in the game as DLC. Screw iconicness, its just DLC. I want Havik, Mileena, Kung-Lao and Rain. Forreal, if midway try to put a limit on characters for DLC then I'm not gonna buy MKVSDC.


If Halo can keep churin' out map packs. I don't see why MKvDC couldn't do the same with characters.

Ok. Another example being Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
8 DLC characters.
My point isn't that oh ha they'll just keep poppin them out like inner-city prom night babies...it's that yes there is a GOOD chance that we'll be seeing more than just one or two people. So everyone should chill for now.

Sorry, I'd never vote for Cage. I voted Ermac and Lobo, though the Ermac vote was a bit of a wasted vote, but mabey not. He'll never beat Reptile or Kung Lao in a poll you can only vote for 1, but I'm hoping he gets enough votes to be one of the other DLC characters.
I wouldn't say ANY other MK3 and up person should be in besides Ermac, and that's because the Legend of Ermac goes all the way back to MK1 (or was the Ermac error MK2?, maybe both though I thought there was something about Ermac in MK1 too, idk). I just hope he gets in. He's my favorite character in Deception and Armageddon, though in MKA Quan Chi is the one character I'm better with than Ermac. Quan makes it easy though.

Jack Burton can back up LarryL on the existence of Ermac from the very first MK...

Apparently (and I forget what system, if it was a specific one this was on, or the circumstances around how or why this happened), but when the fight with Reptile was triggered, you would sometimes get the word "ERMAC" where Reptile's name would have been at the health bar, which was shorthand for "ERROR MACHINE." This never actually happened to me back in the day, but it did happen to a cousin of mine (although for the life of me I can't remember what system he owned...or if he managed to do it on an actual arcade...).

And THAT'S what Jack Burton has to say at this time.

I voted for Lobo. I like his look and type. And I voted for Kung Lao. I think he is one of the coolest and underrated characters in MK. I was thinking Reptile also, but the team dissapointed me with him in the last MK's.

Nice to see Lobo in the lead. I hope Midway is able to realize downloadable characters. There are really some characters missing that should've been in the game in the first place.
