Once again, you guys have to understand that not every aspect of every ending comes true..... Drahmin's ending and Li Meis may have never come true so we don't know for sure what happened to either one of them... Regarding Shang, I doubt he is going to be back, which upsets me because he has always been one of my favorite characters storywise... I just don't see him being implemented in this game.... Hopefully though they will find a way to prove me wrong and include him.

but I would bet any money that the thing that happened to drahmin and quan-chi wasn't put in there for no reason I think that it will play a big role in mk deception.

I hope Liu Kang just stays dead...if you're going to bring him back...bring him back like everyone else, don't reincarnate him...

Yeah...changing forms would be nice...but I don't think the gaming engines can handle it....ah...probably the only redeeming quality about cartridges...Shang could morph within the blink of an eye.

hm... i didnt get everyones endings yet but only 4 endings for some characters.

Shang Tsung is a pimp. He looks like some kind of Robin Hood pirate in MK:DA. He definately will live forever if they grant him an outfit as cool as that.

I think he's dead this time around for good. He is a really good character and I like him very much but if he is alive he is gonna die anyway, everyone is gonna be after his head. The Good Guys for killing Liu, Kahn for his betrayal, Quan for his betrayal and the Dragon King for whatever reason (to help finish his army).

Yeah Shang Tsung is definitely in my top five favorite MK characters. Baraka (obviously), Kabal, Scorpion, Shang Tsung, and Sub-Zero.

As for his usefullness to the plot of MK:D, we really know nothing except for the fact that Baraka and Mileena seem to play a large part. Even then, it could only be one part of the plot. If they had released a trailer with a whole thing about the special forces, which will most likely have some sort of part in MK:D, we'd think that people like Sonya or Jax were the centerpeices of the story. Of course, it looks like Baraka/Mileena are central to the story right now, but until we see some more trailers and magazines, everything, even what we think we know, is mere conjecture. Hell, for all we know, the woman in purple is really a new look for Li Mei and the character that looks like Baraka could be his brother Ed or something.

My opinion: I think he'll be in there, if not in main character form, then hidden. If not hidden, then he'll be involved in the story. I liked his MK:DA look, but I still kinda miss the floaty old man look from MK1.

and im not talking about him changing in the story where he killed lui kang.

Shang Tsung is good and one of my favs in MK:DA but in many of the endings for MK:DA Tsung was killed. So i don't think he will be in MK:De.

I don't think Shang-Tsung, Sonya , Kano/Liu-Kano
will be in the game Because this game is similar to MKII where they had exempted these characters

who called shang i thought shang and quain both killed by each other. i only unlocked 2 of shangs and quains endings. i never finish the game since the xbox keep messing up the game.

Why you ask?
Well, if they keep gettin rid of old characters it makes more space for new or other returning charchters, e.g. Kitana gets killed by Mileena in the opening of MK:DE, Jade returns to edenia from the Lin Kuei HQ where she had been training, to hone her skills, some thing like that. Or just introduce a new main charcater
