I hope Shang Tsung is mentioned in the game in one way or another, he is crucial to the plaot in many ways.. Hopefully the Dragon King will play a big role as well.

I hope Shang I back! He's integral to the story and I'm sure they won't have him die as he has become such an important character in the series.

I could see Shang Tsung implemented in this game as a hidden character. He could be portrayed as a wild card in this game lurking in the shadows and decieving warriors to turn on each other. Shang Tsung could be in a weakened state since Kung Lao slashed him in the chest making him spew out many souls.

Shang Tsung could be shirtless with a huge scar running across his chest. He should look like he is in hid mid 40's with his hair graying and his face should get a little weakened. Shang Tsung's eyes should have no pupils and should emit a green glow and have some energy spewing out of his eyes. Shang Tsung should wear red baggy pants like Kung Lao's with black boots which have golden buckles on them. Shang Tsung would have some trinkets on him, gauntlets with golden chains hanging down from them, a string necklace with a green stone hanging from it. Shang Tsung should have his MK2 hat back but in red and should have a golden rim around it.

Shang Tsung's storyline should be that he is once again in the Outworld preying on warriors that come his way. Since Quan Chi betrayed him and learning the truth about his deeds with the Dragon King. Shang Tsung will use his most useful tool, Deception. Shang Tsung will turn the Dragon King's generals against him by killing an important member to the Dragon King and possesing the body in a meditating state.

Actually it was the other way around. Shang Tsung feared that Quan Chi would betray him so he planned ahead and sent the Oni-Demons to get him.

Knglao wanted to avenge the death of liu Kang badly enough so its safe to assume that he did kill Shang. I mean I hope he did cuz I don't want to see him again

xphoguytonyx, Shang Tsung's morph wasn't implemented in MKDA for one reason: loading time. There would either be a load lag every time that Shang Tsung morphed into another character or one very long load before the fight.

But with the PS2's hard-drive coming out and the X-box already having one, it's possible, though unlikely to see it again.

I'd just like to see his own stuff developed more, if he comes back--a great sorceror and all he can do is throw fireballs and take souls?

They better have Shang Tsung! Why would I want him? Look at the name, the avatar, the sig! Ya get it!? In my eyes, no one is better! He must be in it, or I will cry, I'll still buy it of course, but I will cry. (and you don't want to see a fat 20 year old whine)

Just for me personally, I find it hard to get attached to a character like Ermac who was a paletee swap in MKT and Ultimate MK3.... Same thing goes for someone like Noob Saibot.. I just can't take either of them seriously especially considering Noob's name is Boon and Tobias backwards. Its just my opinion though so I'm not flaming you.

dude wat grizzle said bout shang tsungs look , u are a genuis, he should have a shirt like the jack sparrow pirate look from mkda but should be ripped and have scar on his chest, his hair should be black but grey shades showing he is getting old again, and his eyes lids should be baggy and wrinkled adn his eyes look like he is delirious, that is a perfect look and a green glowing rock chain yea that owns. and shinnok is the dragon king ppl

I think Shao Kahn will be reserrected and he is going to kill Shang Tsung and Quan Chi will run, thus ending the Deadly Alliance.

I do hope he comes back, with the Dragon King's army. What the hell happened to them?

I wish Shang Tsung would return. But something's telling me he won't come back, yet something's telling me he will. I hope the later is right.
