Would you like to see the return of the ice clone? I think that it would be really cool, particularly in a 3-D environment

And lets make a new ice move too.

Yes the ice clone move would be great in 3D.
Wouldn't it be killer if you could do your ice clone, then uppercut or roundhouse the clone sending debris at your opponent?
The ice clone would be an excellent defensive/offensive move in 3D. A standing ice clone beatz out the ice shaker. If an enemy side stepz to go around the clone, you could side step in the same direction. Imagine 12 & 6 or 3 & 9 on the clock.
Could be considered extremely cheap once opponent is impaled & bleeding.

Well in order to combat the xheapness that it would inevitably lead to I think that ability to shatter it with projectile attacks would be an awesome effect. Imagine scorpion raising a hellfire right under the clone and either melting it (realistic) or shattering it(SFX) and if the mmk team were ambitious they could have it destroyed uniquely by each type of attack.
yo i thought of a new ice move for sub zero, it could go against aierial attacks, he freezes this icicle thows it up and punts it up in the air to hit the opponent, works like the shadow uppercut johnny cage has, as for the ice clone, yea that would be hot to see.

I nwant ALL the ice moves back, including the Floor Ice (That slides)
A cool new ice move could be an ICE PUNCH., or BOOMERANG ICE, when it goes past you and comes back to hit u on the back

He could have 2 versions of the ice blast.
The new one, and the old one with the chunks of ice.
the old style could work like Jaxs machine gun.
It could have a quicker recovery and also come out faster.

Excellent idea!!!
But I liked the Ice shower much better.

I personally don't think it could work. If the character still have the same jumpheight, it would be impossible to jump it. If you keep the clone in between you and the enemy, it'll be hard to catch you. I don't like the attack IMO

0
yeah, but you could just run around it very easily.
Jumping over it would be a problem though.

I know, but someone said that they would be blocked from the clone. Kinda like a clock, 9 and the 3 etc...

they would be blocked as long as you moved with them in rotation. BUT - as Reptilelord said,"the ability to shatter it with projectilez would be an awesome effect". - thus allowing you to bust through.

That would be so awesome to see.
What if the ice clone was like a mist that was left behind instead of a statue.
A statue of ice would take a very long time to melt.
I think a cold mist would make a lot more sense than making an ice sculpture in the middle of the round in 1 second.
Just an idea.

I say just get rid of Subby altogether... his moves are really getting old

I meant like, he jumps back, and instead of a statue, there would be a cold mist.
Not that he blows it out like Sonya.

I hope you aren't a Scorpion fan. Cuz if you are you are looking like a major idiot right now..lol. Just playin man.
But really, how are Sub's moves getting hold? The freeze is the only move that stayed consistantly in every single MK. Sub's new additions have been the ground ice, the clone, the ice shower, the ice shaker and the cold shoulder. I think of all the "veterans" Sub-Zero remains the freshest, but I guess that's just me. Hey, atleast hes not how Liu Kang used to be.

I like the mist ice clone idea. Heres an idea for a ice related move: Frost Bite- Pick up your opponent and hold them in mid air. Your hands are kind of glowing and it starts to go into their body. You hit them out of your arms and they move slowly and are almost paralyzed for 3 seconds.

0
Oh yeah, I like that move.
I see it as he just grabs the opponent, and flash freezes them, but not all the way, so they just go in to slow motion for like 2 seconds.
